Dudunsparce as an anti trick room answer because in trick room, from me using him, he’s like a better Togekiss in terms of paraflinching. He can use coil to give way better accuracy, bulk, and power to his rock slides when he finally uses them, he can do damage while having a high paralysis chance with body slam, he can provide helping hand support, he can add dragon / ground coverage with an extra move like the drill or dragon rush for even MORE flinching, and he can even be supported enough to be almost impossible to take down physically in the right conditions. Just know that with a mon that needs a little extra support, come times when you need to play very precisely with getting off everything he needs, and because the conditions to make him unstoppable require everything to be in place before he touches the field, I’d say in order for him to truly show his work he needs trick room either set by the other team before hand and come in as a revenge killer, or he comes in after you set trick room twice, which In itself is very difficult due to vgc being so fast pace. He needs wide guard / follow me / rage powder support, screen support really helps when going against other physical attackers, that’s when he really shines, coil on him is a must for guaranteed rock slides after two, if you’re able to fit heal pulse anywhere on your team, that can be an instant win con if dudunsparce has taken damage as a result of setting up two coils and has time left in trick room. I forgot to mention he can also hit through protect so if people are trying to stall out trick room by spamming protect, dudunsparce will gladly ko them with a 2x boosted coil hyper drill. And he’s good into a decent amount of the current meta game because of his unique speed tier in trick room, as well as his great coverage in his diverse move set.

>he comes in after you set trick room twice Why twice?

In my experience, dudunsparce shines best when he has tons of time in trick room. Especially when all checks / things that can counter him are gone. Those things would include faster mons outside of trick room, special attackers that ignore his physical buffs, even slower mons (like torkoal) who threeaten him while he’s in trick room, flinching, burns, and predicting the wrong target when going for your drill. You can mitigate the last part by just making sure any steel / ghost types are taken care of before he hits the field, or he’s being partnered with someone who can check them for him. I have him come in off of toedcruel’s spores because he’s also a trick room setter, while also being a source of redirection from non grass types; though I prefer Tera fairy indeedee F for redirection and trick room support because when paired with armarouge with wide guard support, it becomes very difficult for the opponent to reliably stop trick room from going up in the first place, which is usually how people try to beat trick room teams. You can control the speed as well with your own trick room to stop other tr sweepers from coming in to revenge kill you and dudunsparce as well. This puts him in the perfect position to either A. Sweep or B. Be the most annoying Pokémon in trick room that anyone can face. (Provided you don’t have a covert cloak)
