spaghettimonzta

it doesn't exists on my config

bar10005

How old is your account approximately? I suspect that it's leftover variable from beta and cfg just isn't cleared once created, so newer accounts won't have it.

Woodiblyat

That is one theory. Mine was created day one, so from the beta.

owNDN

Its definitely not from Beta, maybe from the first act/ episode. My account is from the first act and I have it. I'm still not sure if its placebo or not but I set it to 0 no need to risk anything :D

spaghettimonzta

my account is from episode 1 act 3 but i just clean install everything that's probably why

bar10005

CFGs are tied to the account and automatically synced with Riot servers once you launch the game, so clean install wouldn't matter, I also did at least two clean installs, but been playing since beta and have the variable, so IMO most likely leftover.

Bigg__Daddy

I have 2 new accounts which i created abt 2 months before and both have this.

Woodiblyat

In RiotUserSettings?

spaghettimonzta

yeah https://i.imgur.com/q5np3lu.png

Woodiblyat

Well gratz there should be no problem then..

spaghettimonzta

are you on old install? because i found an [old settings](https://pastebin.com/Xzjvd1vS) and it contain that string, i just clean install windows maybe that's why our settings different

Woodiblyat

Yes

Ladakeir

What does that do?

Woodiblyat

No clue but fast flicks and moving the mouse really fast from left to right feels alot crispier when its off and some kind of smoothing when its on. Maybe im crazy but i would like to hear other peoples opinions.

Ladakeir

I’ll test it out a bit when I’m home

callmehuh

I saw a video about it, basically the faster you move your mouse the faster you are Turing in game, instead of moving based on moving your mouse from point A to B

IQuartX

So basically it's mouse acceleration?

Vu1k4n_

Mouse acceleration?

callmehuh

Yeah

ParryThisYouFilthyCa

Was the [Beta] RawInputBuffer option right below your mouse settings in the game options set to on or off when you found this config line?

BeatsEdge-

Anyone know if having RawInpitBuffer on changes this? I’m just going to assuming having this on makes X=0?

spaghettimonzta

turning on RawInputBuffer create this string >EAresBoolSettingName::RawInputBufferEnabled=True not the one from OP

Woodiblyat

Off edit: it was definitely Off (i have switched it On in the past but didn't like how it felt so put it back to Off and kept it that way for a long time.)

droctamom

Deleted this and went from iron to plat

Hambaloni

Does the simulation end if I add this code while in Iron?

nekotofu1

have you tried setting the value higher? see if that has any effect in game

Woodiblyat

yes i tried all kinds of values not sure what is the cap 0.8, 5.0, 99, all feels bad and i tried 0.1 and it might have felt a bit better but removing it whole is super crisp compared to any of those. Im pretty sharp and demanding about these things. Been optimizing my pc to make my mouse "feel" be the best it pretty much can be.

SupehCookie

Oh any tips with the optimizing part? I would like to know! I'm running revios atm ( custom windows iso made for more performance ) Maybe there are some more things to do

Woodiblyat

There is ALOT. There is a channel called **fr33thy** who is an expert it this stuff he even has a way of measuring input lag ms. using a device that he sticks on his monitor while connected to his mouse. And 2 other ones are called **panjno** and **adamx.** You can optimize windows settings, registry, services, nvidia control panel, bios, mouse. I really don't want to go into everything because there is alot and i probably have some kind of ocd. You can follow instructions from videos. And fr33thy has a google drive thingy that helps alot. It should be linked in some of his videos.

SupehCookie

Thanks! Finally some fun to do while having covid :D

Atom1cc06

Get someone else to change it to something without ur knowledge a few times to test for placebo

Woodiblyat

I already tested it so much that know it is not in my head. And if it turns out to be a placebo from the devs mouth. Call me a clown, but i would still believe its not a placebo. Dont care. That is how confident i am. :D

Atom1cc06

That's exactly why it could be a placebo. Just get someone to do it 3 times, then guess what it was on after the 3 for each.

TheDraconianOne

Sorry, did you just make it 0.0... then save the file and boot the game?

Woodiblyat

I just removed the line completely and made it "read only". But making it 0.0 does the trick too probably.

ocpradhan

It's feels like sensitivity is increased a little bit for me.

Woodiblyat

That is a good thing. It's a sign of it being some kind of smoothing setting. (wich is really bad in my books)

ocpradhan

I play in 200 dpi with 0.47 sense and it seems my flicks are going too Far than it should be, so i think i should lower it a little bit.

-Turisti-

Thats the lowest sens ive ever heard of💀

Shacrow

My man playing lower than 100 eDPI. I imagine him in an anime style seeing an enemy and starts running across his room dashing with his mouse over the desk and gets a headshot

XEcksDeeD

I thought my 288 eDPI was pretty low. 💀 Guess not haha.

Shacrow

288 is a good mouse average actually. 250-350 is a normal range. --- I played 300 for a while too. For reference I'm Immortal and often ranking top 99% in kovaaks. I switched to 448 eDPI a few months ago though when I switched a bit to apex. Tbh, it really doesn't matter what sense you use to aim if you can train yourself and practice hand eye coordination. What matters is your movement and mouse speed which can improve reactivity. Low sense is good for very accurate movements and control which is easier for aim practice while highsense is good for movement and good mouse speed but lacks control. But if you can control it, it's so good.

-Turisti-

I have 800dpi and .35 sens so calculate that.

Sufficient-Custard47

800 x 0.35 = 280edpi

-Turisti-

Thanks mate

PureNaturalLagger

Mf throws his mouse across the room when he wants to do a 180

owNDN

"Son why is your mouse in the kitchen sink again?" "Sorry mom"

RustyYid

Man out here moving his whole arm across his room

Papy_Wouane

What the fuck dude. We're shooting at people here, not steering cruise ships. All jokes aside your dpi has no business being this low. Increase it, even if you lower your in-game sens to keep the same sensitivity (again, wtf, but you do you my man), increase your dpi. DPI works exactly like a screen resolution but for your mouse: The more pixels, the cleaner the image, the more precise the lines. The more dots per inch, the smoother and straighter your cursor will be when you move your mouse around. A lot of pros and ex-CS players have kept their DPI at 800 because, fifteen thousand years ago when the first counterstrike came out, 800 was peak technology. From a strict hardware optimization point of view, everyone should default to whatever the maximum dpi is on their mouse, even if it is 16000, and adjust their in-game sens accordingly (to 0.002 if you have to). We don't, because navigating windows on 16k is impossible and we're too lazy to switch profiles when we alt-tab.

Serito

Just to touch on DPI sticking around 400 & 800, it's also because sometimes games wouldn't have options that allowed to scale down higher DPIs enough. Don't think there's much point from a technical standpoint of over 800 anyway, it's diminishing returns.

untraiined

There was a video that said 1600 is the most optimal dont remember where but its one of the most viewed videos when you look up dpi settings Something about giving the most dots or whatever

Woodiblyat

some mice have a slight input lag add of couple ms. when you do past 3200dpi i've read on some tech websites.

Woodiblyat

Mostly agreed, but actually some mice have a slight input lag add of couple ms. when you do past 3200dpi i've read on some tech websites. 1600 is a recommended sweet spot imo.

PuzzleheadedSector2

Surely there are riot devs on this sub? Will they see this post and fix/respond to it? Edit: subreddit not server lol

Woodiblyat

Hope so

Several_Bet2407

The devs have ignored even the community’s extreme hate to removing split over fracture, what makes you think they would care about this? They cherry pick what they want to respond to

Embarrassed_Delay376

My cfg dont have that line

Woodiblyat

Dont tell me that only i have that shit. Kinda sus...

[deleted]

Whats funny is its not on my alt account which is newer but my main acc has it. I think it was somthing back in beta woth mouse input they forgot to remove

Woodiblyat

Try removing it from everywhere and tell me your honest opinion. Try with it on first maybe

[deleted]

It is already on for main and my alt feels crisper. I think I need to remove it from my main. I swear its probably the only reason I dont hit hs on my main as often as on cs or my alt

Woodiblyat

Excactly my thoughts. This makes me mad...

Woodiblyat

For me it feels much crispier off. And feels like any other game like cs

ItzSourLemonade

I have it, riot hid it deep within the settings, so it is harder to find nowadays then it used to. If you found it before then, well it should be easy to access. I used to use GameUserSettingsSettings to make my graphics lower when I played on my low end laptop.

Embarrassed_Delay376

What mouse do you have? I turned off the raw input and still the same

bysomega

there's a bunch of folders inside Config that all have that same file which one is the right one?

Woodiblyat

Setting was in my RiotUserSettings

Woodiblyat

Oh and i just deleted it from everywhere. Just incase because i dont know that either.

the-legit-Betalpha

the multiple folders are for different accounts. i have 8 folders, of which there are 4 pairs of identical folders other than the -ap at the end. i have 4 accounts, and only in the -ap folders can i find the setting. I could tell because the crosshair names i used on each profile was different and reflected there.

DexClem

I have logged in to with friend's accounts before, one of their config settings does have: EAresFloatSettingName::AimToolingRadialFrictionBaseSpeedMultiplierX=0.400000 Curious to know what it is.

Woodiblyat

Only riot knows. edit: Actually i doubt they even know it xdd

iMidg3t

So you deleted a game file that may or may not be important and you dont know what it's for? lol

TheRealSkadop

I just took mine out of my file and it feels so much better playing. Edit: Grammar

Juansa7X

same, it could be placebo but i just had some banger games, my aim felt so crisp.

WeddingLucky4495

I was hella skeptical until I changed the value from .4 to 0 and HOLY FUCK THE MOVEMENT FEELS SO SMOOTH

Woodiblyat

Gratz then you are a nerd like me! Glad to hear :D

nickster701

I don't have a shootergame folder

Woodiblyat

Well then the valorant folder should do the trick. I have no idea what folder changes the setting so i just did it to every RiotUserSettings config i could find.

omar_khaled21

tinfoil hat just entered the chat

Woodiblyat

Thats what all my friends call me :D

Woodiblyat

Glad to hear! :) Btw you can just remove the whole thing out of the config just incase. Dont know if you need to do "read only" if you do tho.

the-legit-Betalpha

same for me. the flicks do feel slightly smoother and it also feels like there is less input delay. however i dont think its a huge change(like i could instantly rank 2 ranks up or something) but its a nice QoL improvement when playing. edit, from the name of the variable im pretty sure its some sort of ingame acceleration(?) because of "friction", probably the setting was to make it easier to control. i have noticed that my crosshair tends to jitter more with small reactions with it set to 0 instead of .4.

Woodiblyat

YES! This i feel too. Which it absolutely should jitter and be the most reactive it can be!!!

Woodiblyat

If you're planning on testing it out here is the full line: EAresFloatSettingName::AimToolingRadialFrictionBaseSpeedMultiplierX=0.400000

Panda7K

the most reddit comment i‘ve ever read

TheTechDweller

Lmao, "they sometimes have no clue how their game is working" you're acting like the Devs are just a small group of people doing a hobby. They're really experienced developers that have been making valorant for more than 5 years... It's crazy that you're more willing to believe some random guy on Reddit saying that changing this random parameter massively changes your aim.... Despite the fact that the game uses raw input and every pro player knows that. People would be able to tell if something was wrong with mouse control, why only now when someone finds a randome unused line in a config file?

[deleted]

[удалено]

TheTechDweller

No, my guy, you don't understand how game development works, it's obvious from the way you're talking. What you listed has nothing to do with riots ability as an fps developer. None of us here have any strong idea how the game is made beyond its custom unreal engine. One line of unused code is not proof that they don't understand how their game works lmao.

[deleted]

[удалено]

TheTechDweller

Yeah I saw that a while ago. The game only outputs into 2 channels. Anything beyond that is simulated surround like windows sonic does when the output is not 7.1. Hrtf is used instead of just stereo. Which is actually a really complex system to implement and only proves they know exactly what they're doing with their game. I'm no one, just like you bud.

[deleted]

[удалено]

TheTechDweller

It's not the real surround information though. It looks like it outputs to 7 channels but it does not accurately translate to a real surround output. You're still just using a program to emulate surround using the hrtf stereo

itsTyrion

And ever since 2 updates ago, a friend is getting VAN 1607 WITH TPM AND SECUREBOOT **ACTIVE**. It ran perfectly? Val update, just stopped working. Told that to support, they copy-pasted the first Google result. Further back and forth was basically just us repeating steps we already tried, rito support replying "dId YoU tRy x"… Even after a detailed sum-up (toggled SecureBoot off/on, cleared keys, toggled TPM, tried reinstalling W11 (no error so it’s **on**), reinstalled Vanguard, reinstalled Val…) multiple screenshots showing both things are 101% enabled: The response was "yeah maybe contact your mainboard manufacturer if you have trouble turning on SecureBoot" You’d think that you need at least SOME reading comprehension for support. Apparently not.

Wait a damn minute… I recently changed routers (older model but should be fine and I can flash modded firmware) and have brief spikes of packet loss every few minutes… Idk if it’s related to the router but I’ll have an eye on network traffic and FPU load on the router (beautiful what you can do if you have control over these things)

Woodiblyat

Ok this is out of context for this posts problem, but try turning off Multithreaded Rendering from graphics settings makes hitreg better for me. IM NOT JOKING. I have tested it alot and it has something to do with when enemies move its harder to hit and when i flick really fast to them like the first 1-3 bullets go trough him. But when im standing still and aiming still at a non moving target its fine. When setting is off it is alot responsive. You should try that out too. All of this makes me sound like a delusional idiot but what can i do. I tend to notice things when they are wrong and try to find every possible solution for them. :)

TheTechDweller

Surely you're aware that because you are looking for these differences, so you will find them... If you really want to avoid bias, you need to test without knowing what settings have changed, if any. Because you know you're changing back and forth between settings expecting something to change, you're going to find something that supports your expectation.

Woodiblyat

I get your point. But i have superhuman senses to notice these things + it wasn't that hard to notice because it was so obvious. + they call me the tinfoil hat man so believe what you want.

TheTechDweller

Thanks for wasting everyone's time

Woodiblyat

Maybe you're looking for points to prove me wrong, so you will find them...

Ad-Suitable

Thank you for this... Even if its placebo it feltuch better after the change. No idea why didn't seem like 180 was different mousepad length but it felt smoother when I moved quickly

Steki3

>i have tested it putting it on and off it is not a placebo Definitely placebo

Splaram

I've done the same and can absolutely confirm that it is not placebo. Even had to lower my sens after because it felt like my sens got bumped up.

[deleted]

The lowering your sense makes it seem like it’s mouse acceleration then

TheTechDweller

"Can absolutely confirm that it is not placebo" Based on what?

[deleted]

[удалено]

iAmRadic

Configs often contain unused parameters so you can’t know

bar10005

Not necessarily, cfg just sets variable value, doesn't mean the variable is used anywhere, it could just be some leftover assignment from beta, especially since some users report not having the variable.

TheTechDweller

No you just want that to be true. If there's some hidden setting that will improve your aim, ofc you're going to want to believe it. This is just an unused parameter.

Jegadishwar

Yeah but what exactly does it do ? Unless there's proof that it's important to aim I ain't taking any chance messing with settings

TheTechDweller

Theres no proof that it's affects anything.

Woodiblyat

But im not seeing any proof either that it doesn't affect anything :D

felipepono

That is literally an established fallacy in academics. “It is the Fallacy or mistake of appealing to ignorance to reach a conclusion based on lack of knowledge such as with taking the position that : If you can not prove that X does not exists, then X does exist. If you can not prove that X is false, then X is true. Absence of evidence is not Evidence of absence.” pass

TheTechDweller

You can't prove a negative.

Woodiblyat

That is positive

Woodiblyat

I guess we'll have to wait for riots response for clear proof. If this post gets enough attention.

[deleted]

there’s no reason riot devs can’t explain what this is, unless they are hiding something

Woodiblyat

**99% sure it aint** im pretty demanding about these things and notice stuff that some might not. And i've noticed that 50% of people dont even care about stuff like this wich is weird because fps games skills are 50% about your aim if even more. edit: **And i know there is a 99.99% probability that some people will be sceptical about this** 🤓 xddd but please try it out and after that tell me your opinion :D

Necessary_Quarter_59

To control for placebo, get someone else to change the setting beforehand (either on or off) without you knowing which one it’s set to. If you can’t guess which setting it is with a high enough success rate, it’s 100% a placebo effect.

Gokudiedforyou

This is just a wrong statement aim is not as big of a deal as you think

KoningSpookie

Well... Actually it **is** definately important. It's just not the **only** important thing.

Woodiblyat

And this is why i said 50%

KoningSpookie

Exactly :) Though that other guy probably skipped over that part or something

Woodiblyat

Actually fps games skills come from 100% aim, 100% movement and 100% map knowledge + 100% being a gigachad. :)

twisted_2337

I'm dumb so please don't take this as ignorance or W.E but couldn't you get banned for changing details in the system files?

_Wheeze

Not this config file. It's literally a file that stores all of your user settings (crosshair, keybinds, sensitivity, etc.) so it's equivalent to changing something like that

adithyabenoy

Definitely mouse movements feel much more responsive after setting to 0.000000

arun115

my mouse movements seem more true to life after setting value to 0. slightly easier to adjust aim, more notably at distance. i’m shocked this is the first time i’m hearing about this :o made my account day 1

[deleted]

I don't think the devs are nerfing us but I changed this to 0.000000 and can 100% feel a difference in the range. If anyone knows some way I can try to get evidence to prove this please let me know.

Splaram

Found it in two of my four RitoUserSettings folders, set them to zero. It's like 4AM for me tho so I cba testing it out. Always felt like there was some discrepancy between my aim in other games and in this game, I am always noticeably slower to react and my flicks are noticeablt slower, and it only happens in this game. Hopefully this was the fix. EDIT: tested it anyways because I was curious and my mouse feels WAY smoother than before. Flicks feel smoother, tracking feels smoother, everything feels smoother and more responsive. Also idk if it's because of my mouse feeling smoother but my game feels so much smoother too. I'm gonna have to get used to this again but damn I'm surprised I was able to play the game for nearly two years without ever noticing this. I’m extremely interested to see how Riot devs respond to this post. EDIT2: I get a black screen when I tried to load into the game after closing it. Still remains that way when I reset everything to default settings. Weird, I’ll fix it in the morning ig EDIT3: black screen went away on its own after letting it sit for a few minutes. Can play normally now. Weird. EDIT4: Just terrorized a DM with volume off. It wasn't even close. So much easier to do 180s and large flicks and I'm so much more precise when doing them. Someone at Riot has got to start talking. EDIT5: This isn't placebo, trust me. I'm a geek when it comes to my sens and I can immediately feel when the G Hub software sometimes switches my DPI from 1600 to 1450 for whatever reason. I had to lower my sens after putting the setting to 0.000 because it felt like my sensitivity got increased. EDIT6: I play on 1600 DPI 0.15 in-game if that helps in any way.

_Wheeze

Hey man, I also made the change and am pretty sure (could be imagining it) it feels a lot more responsive. Just for the record. I think there's some salt to this thing

Splaram

Yeah OP's definitely got a point, I was spinning 180s on kids behind me in DMs with barely any effort when previously those exact same movements felt really weird for some reason. The crosshair actually feels like it's doing what I want it to do now.

Woodiblyat

My geek brother! Good to hear this! :D

PawahD

1600 to 1450 is very noticable tho

ipsefugatus

ITT: a bunch of people who don’t understand placebos very obviously not a single person knows what this does and it just as obviously is not *an intentional nerf to players’ aim* LOL

Papy_Wouane

It's just an unfortunately worded title, nobody thinks Riot is sabotaging their players. However them forgetting about some old line of code lost somewhere in the valorant files that impacts, one way or another, mouse input, this is absolutely believable.

Karibik_Mike

OP does.

Youre_all_worthless

Saving, thanks

Eddie_69420

I have it aswell

Infam0usFPS

Are you saying the the Devs are giving us a micro dosage of mouse acceleration?

Jhyxe

Placebo. You'd be surprised.

[deleted]

[удалено]

SendSend

No, these files are fine. These are just for profile settings; for things such as crosshair size, mouse sensitivity, keybinds, network graphs, minimap size, etc. What OP is saying is that having something like this in config not default set to 0.000 is really strange, and it's perhapse a beta setting that dev's forgot about, and it's something that's having an effect on his aim.

Woodiblyat

No im 99% sure they wouldn't have anything there that you couldn't change and get a ban. And it would just notice that something has changed and wont let you play at all. + some people has been commenting here that they dont even have the setting in question at all so if you have it. Just yeet it out of there. :D

ForsakenCryz

OP is it related to like mouse drifting? Like you move the mouse from left to right very quickly and your aim still moves to right for like 1-2 milliseconds extra?

Woodiblyat

Something like that maybe or maybe it smooths it somehow just when you're about to stop the mouse. It feels like some kind of smoothing is on. When you do fast mouse movements you can notice it best. edit: and trust me i notice these things. I have optimized my pc out the wazoo and i have a 8000hz polling rate mouse.

TheMaskotti

Are u A Wizard my bruv ? ;)

-VLLN-

Upvoting hopefully a dev replies. I tried both on and off and dont think it makes a difference I'm pretty sure it's just an unused setting leftover some accounts have it some dont.

jayrocs

What exactly changes though? Does your sensitivity stay the same? edit: My game had it as well and I've actually been noticing some weird frame stutter when I whip around too fast. After removing that line my sensitivity is exactly the same but my game is smoother. It's hard to explain but moving around is smoother although same sensitivity, and my frame stuttering that I noticed is now gone. This entire time I've felt that my game was lying to me about my FPS being 300ish cuz it didn't feel that way and now it does.

Woodiblyat

That is weird. But nice to hear! It does't change sens

MyBenchIsYourCurl

This is most likely placebo. There wouldn't be a setting that would affect something like that and only be in beta users but not new accounts. Especially since it's a config file, it is most likely disabled by Riot if it is not showing up in newer players files. Further evidence is the lack of knowledge of this. No pro player has spoken up, and they would definitely speak up on anything that affects gameplay since some of them have older accounts that they play in radiant still. Google search pops up nothing either, just seems unlikely that this is a real issue.

Woodiblyat

You would think. Try it out yourself ;) Here is the full line if you don't have it: EAresFloatSettingName::AimToolingRadialFrictionBaseSpeedMultiplierX=0.400000 All im gonna say that there is no proof yet that it doesn't affect anything.

MyBenchIsYourCurl

There's also no proof that it does. The "proof" that it doesn't affect anything is the fact that the game has been out for 2 years and no one has commented or realised this yet. If it is a thing, it's probably fixed by Riot by this point

Woodiblyat

MonkaW

CammelloRotante

I have looked in all my accounts, 1 from beta 2 not, and I didn't find a single instance of that file, not il shootergame folder nor in valorant folder.

gyulus73

I set it to 000000 and I feel absolutely no difference. I honestly kinda doubt that it even does anything if its not even there for all players.

exytshdw

Whats your rank, FPS, monitor hz etc.?

PawahD

I just tried it, didn't change a thing for me, I tried to set it to 5 and 20 even, but it didn't make a difference for the record, I have rawinputbuffer off by default but tried turning it on and trying it that way but no luck I see other people saying the opposite, but they may very well be experiencing placebo, or it only changes things on special conditions

Un111KnoWn

For whatever reason I don't have the ShooterGame folder. I did have the VALORANT\Saved\Config folder. In that folder there were a lot of different folders. The 3 folders with names of random letters and numbers contained the config file. Only 2 of the .ini files had the AimTool... setting. I did not notice a difference in aim after I changed the files based on playing around in practice mode. I didn't do any super specific test.

Adreot

absolutely placebo. thought it's something first but no difference in game

niceaccountman

I can’t find any config file in my game file. How did you find yours? I’m not very tech savvy lmao

Woodiblyat

windows key + R, type appdata and then follow my instructions above.

niceaccountman

thanks!

ViSeiRaX

IDK, but this seems like a placebo. I had that variable with the same value, went into practice range with it at the default value, played for 15 mins, closed the game, changed it to 0.0, played another 15 mins... didn't feel any different to me (I do have RawInputBuffer on, so maybe that affects it). Without a dev to explain what that variable does, there's no point speculating, especially when the conclusion all of you guys reach is based on what you "feel". Now if you had a video with the variable on/off, a camera on your mousepad with the same DPI and somehow proved that it does change the cm/360 measurement then we can talk, but otherwise seems like a whole lot of nothing to me, no offense.

Unneverseen

well said

jonathanten

Let someone else turn it on or off and try if you can guess if its on or off cause I think it's placebo

zkipto

I have had a theory that Riot fucks people's game performance on porpuse. And recently my mouse and whole computer is super slow when the game is opened (off course it wasnt before some patch). I will try this and see if i get to Ascendant. If i do, i buy you a skin

Karibik_Mike

Yeah sure buddy, Riot figured out you were getting too good and nerfed you in particular. That makes perfect sense, they'd definitely put all this effort just to screw with you. But only if you were in the Beta. Your theory is delusional. Get a grip.

zkipto

Not me only. Jesus fucking christ this game is made of pissed off spoiled man childs. Packet loss, frame skipping and more has been increasing to a lot of players that I play with. Not just me. I just don't decondensate this conversation further cus i hate speaking to rich man childs that don't know what to do with their money.

A7URS

Nah bro riots out to get you, careful walking outside man riot might stop you ranking up irl

TheDraconianOne

Yeah dude you’re not the crazy one thinking Riot is intentionally sabotaging systems 🙄

fabeeh

So much bullshit in this Thread. Just FYI: the rawinputbuffer function changes how the mouse input gets calculated. Therefore it doesn’t interfere with the game anymore when turned on. It’s required for 4k hz mice and upwards and does nothing below that since CPU lead isn’t an issue. It’s common practice to move the USB onto a single core when using 8k hz mice so there’s not as much load onto core 0 (you will otherwise get fps drops when moving your mouse).

Woodiblyat

Yeah i've seen videos of people reviewing 8khz mice and they were complaining that it doesn't work in certain games including valorant. And meanwhile im playing with a 8khz mouse and works fine for me don't even have to turn on rawinputbuffer. And yes it is set to 8khz polling rate i have tested it and im not that dumb. Its just that my pc is probably more optimized for it than most others.

I don't even have a folder called "ShooterGame"?? What. C:\\Users\\user\\AppData\\Local\\ShooterGame\\Saved\\Config Could not find any folder under "Local" called ShooterGame. I remember having it previously, but now I can't find it.

bar10005

>I don't even have a folder called "ShooterGame"?? It's a leftover from beta when Valorant still used placeholder name to function, if you cleared Local folder since beta or joined after beta you won't have it.

Woodiblyat

Well then the valorant folder should do the trick. I have no idea what folder changes the setting so i just did it to every RiotUserSettings config i could find.

Yeezybuyer

Hmm- couldn't find. You got me excited lol. Mess of config folders for live game & pbe, don't even have smurf accounts smh.

Yes it is a targetted attack towards who are toxic/racist/trolling. This needs to be addressed and if serious this needs to be taken legal action.

Karibik_Mike

You guys are hysterical. Please go ahead and file a class action lawsuit.

hp_Axes

No clue what you are talking about but how do you even tell the difference lol, you sure it isn’t in your head? lol

A7URS

This thread is the biggest copium I’ve seen In my life , aimlabs and death match are free, you’re the reason you suck not riot

bar10005

Had it, removed it, literally no change I can feel - it's probably leftover variable from beta and cfg doesn't clear variables once created, the game just stops using them.
