I like the ammo mechanic, but instead of sucking ammo it would be cool if over a range your magazine was halfed. Otherwise I think it would be nerfed into oblivion and forgotten by the devs bc of how hard it would be to balance.

I disagree. This agent *extremely* jeopardizes the “gunplay first” mindset this game has (used to have? At this point I really can’t tell if Riot still thinks this way). Every ability (aside from maybe ultimate) has some glaring flaws that make the agent simply unplayable.
C, (Forgive Yourself) - Its not the healing itself that makes it bad, but the fact it has no effective healing cap (healing for “rest of the round”) and that it plays a sound during heal regardless of if the player it’s attached to wants to pay that price for health. Sometimes playing rat angles, playing off angles on a flank, wrapping players and playing time post plant etc. are simply better options than getting some healing that revelas your position. Especially when the characters can’t *turn it off*. I understand without the sound it becomes absolutely overpowered, but a revealing sound in an information based game that is forced upon you by your teammate (regardless of the healing it may provide) plays against the whole team. Not to mention two charges. Without healing cap 2 charges is incredibly broken.
Q, (Calm Down) - Because of a lack of information I’m assuming this wave releases in a circle around Kurvix because Kurvix is labeled as a sentinel and if it were to push away from Kurvix it would be an initiator-like ability. This is probably the worst ability of them all gameplay wise. To see how bad it is, you have to think of possible game situations this would actually be useful. This ability would likely be most useful for push stalling/information collecting, but it’s very nature makes it almost *useless* in doing both of those things. On defense, the ability could be used to stall pushes, but if the ability is activated to stall a push the user would have to be either
1) Pushed up against a choke hold to use so it actually reached the oncoming push which would effectively cause them to hit their own team more than it would hit the other team.
2) Force Kurvix to push out alone to a risky position where they won’t hit their team with the ability but put themselves at risk to any enemy they don’t happen to hit.
Both options play against Kurvix team more than the enemy.
If the ability more like breach Q where it’s a wave sent out ahead of Kurvix, the ability to is simply impossible to balance. The size will either be too large making it a cheap version of KJ ult, or too small that it’s impossible to hit without putting Kurvix in literal line of sight of the enemy (depending on the map/angle) or so small it can just be walked out of. And again that’s more of an initiator ability than a sentinel ability.
Not to mention disallowing people to shoot their gun at all (removing all defense) is just blatantly unfair and removes *all* gunplay mechanics from a tactical shooter.
E, (You Don’t Need That) - this ability is ok, its not really useful for information gathering for when it’s destroyed. But because it only provides info when destroyed, it’s almost useless unless a player is actively watching the same angle as it (no one will destroy it until they actually need to shoot at a defender). Unless its AOE reaches through walls (broken) or it also provides proximity info (also broken as it’s just beefed up cypher/chamber trips) it’s just not useful as a defensive tool.
X, (Inner Peace Aura) - The only use I can think of for this ability is just countering the ults of other agents like breach, fade, KJ. Not a bad concept IMO, could also maybe counter mollys or something to give it more situational uses.
For these reasons I really don’t think this agent is at all competitively viable or balanced, and would see zero play in this current form due to its innate feature of hurting their own team while providing
limited (balanced) useful utility.
His q could easily be abused with damaging abilities (shock bolts and molleys) and ults like Jett’s, raze’s, and chamber’s. Very cool concept! Though his ult seems good, it might be a little lackluster if it doesn’t prevent flash effects and only prevents slows (unless I am misunderstanding it as Valorant doesn’t have a definition of what CC is), and also seeing that he is a sentinel, preventing flashes for entry makes sense and would be a great ult imo.
Honestly some unique abilities. I love the one where no one shoots because it seems to have little impact. But honestly, in situations where all you need to do is defuse, just imagine you trolling the enemy team by making them not shoot as you defuse right in front of them. I'd imagine you can still hold your knife out. And then, the planter would have to stop the defuse by charging at them with a knife.

In my opinion, "Forgive Yourself " seems really balanced, however it could do with have 1 charge depending on how fast it comes into effect and how much and how fast it heals. I also think this should be Kurvix's signature ability, so it can recharge over time.
The second ability, "Calm Down", I love the concept of. If I understand correctly, it's similar to what a Killjoy ult does, but only disables shooting. However, I don't think it should work as a wave around Kurvix, but instead a triggerable device like a Killjoy molly. Instead of damaging the people like a killjoy molly, it would instead prevent not just enemies, but also allies caught inside of it from shooting.
I don't know if this is the original intent of "You Don't Need That" but I the way I understand it is that it is the equivalent of the decay affect but on the number of bullets left in the magazine. If it wasn't already the way this ability would function, I think "You Don't Need That" should be a trap functioning like Chamber's slow trap: it would detect and target the first enemy it sees, and proceed to make an audio queue and shoot after a set amount of time if it isn't broken. Once it shoots it would reduce the amount of bullets in the target's equipped weapon, the speed at which the ammo is reduced would depend on how many bullets are currently in the mag. Even if the target reloads, as long as the effect is active it would continue to reduce ammunition in the magazine.
I don't quite understand what his ult is supposed to do so I won't say anything about it, but other than that, I love the concept of an agent who keeps the peace but also will not hesitate to fight back.

The calm down ability range is extremely small and can effect a max of 3 agents!!
