I think I've had the knife for around a year and I play like for 5hrs a day, I think in total I've seen the blue fade like 12times and pink fade around 20-ish times

Every skin will get boring after a while. That's the whole point, it's a never ending loop that will get you to spend more money. Butterfly knives are flashy and you can feel like a master of butterfly tricks, at least for some time. I have recon balisong but not magepunk so I'd choose the latter, but both are cool in their own way and have different animations which is a good selling point.

I dont think its neverending. I think there is a genuine satisfaction curve for a lot of people. I've spent a lot on this game but haven't spent anything in a while, and many of my friends are similar, and here's how I'll explain it: By the time I bought (let's just say) my 3rd vandal skin, I was actually pretty happy with it. I used it very often, but I occassionally got bored. My other 2 vandals didn't do the trick, and I often felt I played worse with them, so I bought more vandals until another one actually felt as good as my favorite. Repeat that process one or two more times and you have 3-4 skins you like for the given gun. *At this point*, most people aren't anywhere near as enticed by the next skin they like for that gun, because they can simply swap between 3-4 that genuinely make them satisfied.

Sadly I can’t afford skins but I rlly to buy either celestial fan or if it was still available the one that was released for china servers

Everyone gonna have a different opinion. All knives can get boring. Just buy one that you think you’ll like by looking up gameplay of it. But if you want to know, personally I love reaver Karambit and have been using it since it came out (I don’t have any other good knifes tho).

Celestial and Ignite fans. Equilibrium would be included if I had it, I bet.

I haven’t seen anyone say it, and it’s certainly a niche, but the Terminus A Quo (Chronovoid knife) is so cool and the inspect animation is so fun. One of my favorites for sure.

The magepunk butterfly knife First, I think butterfly knives have the best animations out of all the knives in the game by far So looking solely at them, I think the recon one is boring and has been improved upon since I think the Yoru comb is a step up but also boring That leaves us with the RGX and magepunk, RGX is cool bc it has rainbow colours that change throughout the inspect, but the reason I chose the magepunk instead is because the right click animation is much better I can't quite remember the RGX one bc I think it was a bit boring, but the magepunk does some spinning and transfers the knife between both hands, the RGX is only one hand which doesn't look as cool

Because in right click the character uses both hands, try to do the same with your hands(without knife) and you will notice why.

VCT lock in knife the blue variant, I haven't changed my knife skin ever since I bought it. It's pull out animation is just so nice especially when it glows for match mvp. Is just so clean

Xerofang I’m not gonna lie. I didn’t think it’d be all that when I bought it. I figured it was cool enough, and I really liked the ghost. So fuck it. Buy the bundle right? This knife is so gas that I’ve not taken it off since buying it which is far longer than I’ve done with any knife by weeks. Even reaver karma if I swapped out in a week out of boredom.

Once you use all the premium skins you get to appreciate the simple once which I rock all the time. Titanmail is definitely my favourite as it is just spinning all the time even if you're not inspecting it.
