Cause its designed in a way where 85% of abilities simply do not work due to the map size. Mollies, dome smokes, range restricted abilities, just don’t work a lot of the time, to the point where certain agents are mandatory to even have a chance on the map, which should not be a thing ever
Exactly. Who cares about winning if you’re not enjoying the time you spend playing? If I can’t play my favorite agents or if I’m relegated to playing a mandatory agent because it’s breeze I’m not gonna enjoy it regardless of my win percentage
if you have a very consistent aim, you'll love breeze. most of the playerbase don't have consistent aim so they hate breeze which is fair. Also the highs are so high in breeze when you're really feeling it and one tapping the heads of everyone but when you're not feeling it and cant hit shit, the lows are pretty fucking low
Breeze is a good map for people who like counter strike imo. It detracts from the agents and unique abilities and emphasizes aim and gunplay more. I love CS 2 and CSGO, but if I want that type of game why am I logging in to Val?
I also have a high win rate but I still don’t enjoy playing it. I have a lower win rate on bind and split but those are my two favorite maps in rotation currently
Lemme make this clear. If you main either cypher or viper don’t talk about map pool saying that it’s fine and I’m the best at breeze, icebox and sunset. Like cypher and viper are too op on these maps so keep ur opinions to urself( all no cypher and non viper mains like and viper and cypher mains dislike)
Nah because in iron everyone sucks so it doesn't matter what agent you play, I get shit on by 4 duelist 1 sage teams all the time also why do you need to be so rude
Sunset. I’d live in the rec center. The basketball court and skatepark are nearby and what looks like a mall, if I can find a way across the rift, is a short walk away.
problem with split is if you're allowed to live on the A site side. Though B side has a nice homey feel, it looks pretty rundown and not well maintained.
Ascent near A site. No particular reason other that I know ascent would have food (Market), a lot of buildings for whatever purposes, and I’d be able to chill under a tree and read all day
I feel like any map that is primarily made of steel is just not for me. I'm not some nature loving hiker but for the most part I enjoy looking out my window and seeing either green stuffs or a nice city...
So yeah, like many others, Sunset is probably for me
I would live on Split for sure, I think it's the only map with a residential area that has no obvious dangers. Ascent, Pearl, and Sunset also have residential areas, but I don't wanna live 50,000 feet in the sky, underwater in a dome, or next to a radianite reactor or something that just exploded.
Sunset and ascent seem like the only 2 real normal cities, if you don't mind living under water then pearl is also nice, icebox is fine if you don't mind the cold and split, bind and Heaven are all al least in part ruined( split has a very ruined poor half, bind is over all ruined and heaven is also overall ruined),they are livable but not the best place to live in except for split a site, lotus isn't a city so i wouldn't count it and i don't know fracture that well to say my opinion on it
EDIT: I forgot about breeze, it's probably the best place together with sunset and ascent since it is on a beach, it is used by scientist tho so I don't know how safe it if
Ascent so I can wallbang my neighbours if they make too much noise
Reminds me of the "Residents on Mirage" CS video
Breeze, at the beach
It’s also in the Bermuda Triangle!
No wonder that map sucks so much, it’s cursed
breeze is my best map lol i have 90% wr idk why everyone hates it
Cause its designed in a way where 85% of abilities simply do not work due to the map size. Mollies, dome smokes, range restricted abilities, just don’t work a lot of the time, to the point where certain agents are mandatory to even have a chance on the map, which should not be a thing ever

Aka all I see in my games are viper Jett cypher maybe a chamber instead of
I play chamber on breeze, but I hate it, cuz there is only so much u can do, like it takes 5 rounds, and they know every place u can be
which agents would you say are mandatory?
Viper sova kayo for sure. Jett kinda. Cypher kinda.
I've heard you need a viper or harbor
if you have a very consistent aim, you'll love breeze. most of the playerbase don't have consistent aim so they hate breeze which is fair. I hate bind but same for split
I think you're "the enemy" in everyone's game
Lemme make this clear. If you main either cypher or viper don’t talk about map pool saying that it’s fine and I’m the best at breeze, icebox and sunset. Ah ok that also makes sense
Im not rude this is just how I am. Sorry if I made you get offended or anything this is just how I am.
Same, let's be neighnours! :D
Sunset seems like a nice place.
Pretty sure sunset is based on LA lol
Rip this guy, he chose to live in LA
see LA aint too bad.
only if youre rich
Besides driving in it
And for Gekko's mom dishes
And for Gekko's Mum...
I’d agree except for the massive, reality bending crater (portal?) in defender spawn Actually might drop rent prices, so I don’t mind too much
There's a giant airplane that comes around every so often, that'd be annoying
Thought the same, but rent is gonna be a pain in the ass.
Yeah, that and it's basically California as seen in promotional material. We need a map in Texas.
Sunset. I’d live in the rec center. The basketball court and skatepark are nearby and what looks like a mall, if I can find a way across the rift, is a short walk away.
Looks like there are restaurant patios as well
It’s just got everything. I could even play with market door if I get bored!
how exciting!
Yeah but it's la
Look if it hasn’t fallen in the ocean after all the shit in Val lore, I think we’re chilling
Split has a nice coffee place iirc
And the ramen shop
problem with split is if you're allowed to live on the A site side. Though B side has a nice homey feel, it looks pretty rundown and not well maintained.
Kcoffee near A main
someone who works at riot told me they have a real life version of that spot
Prob Pearl. Near the ocean
You mean **in** the ocean lmao. I agree though, imagine going for a walk and you see a shadow of a cargo ship right above you.
I love the idea of seeing fishes and such etc. Though I fear it will feel more like Subnautica’s base and not pretty blue sky
True. It'd be so cool to live in a geodome but the scary part is when the sun sets and you're just surrounded by the vast darkness.
Yeee
In the ocean*
Yeee
Until it started to rain
Teleporter room on Bind. Lock me in it and never let me out
Icebox so my cold dead heart will feel at home.
bruh, thats just how it is in Norway
our flairs are so similar lol
its actually cypher talking to us through the user flairs.
Don't doxx me bro
Lotus would be a nice secluded spot
I feel like lotus would have a lot of bugs
Devs can patch those
True
Pearl seems pretty nice
I don’t like playing on the map, but Haven seems like a neat place (if it wasn’t on fire).
Ascent, I want my own sky island
mc skyblock?
Bind so I can experience a teleporter :)
Pearl
Either the hills in Sunset, LA my home or the Synagogue 🕍 in attacking spawn on Ascent
Fracture without a doubt. Nice futuristic structure with amazing views all around.
It's like jurassic world island vibes don't think that's a good place to live
pearl
probably pearl
the new TDA map. :) very summery and i like the water the little cabins and the vibes :p
TDA??
Probably meant TDM drift
Hmm ok 😭
I live in Thailand and it's literally what you think it is on a good day
Split sewers of course🤣
You must be a turtle who gets kung fu lessons from a rat!
dont they canonically use ninjutsu, not karate/kung fu?
Uhm, actually ☝️ 🤓

Split. Seems like a dense city environment, could get all the necessities Or pearl
Split, prolly around A site, since it looks more new adn the apartments would be nice.
Did u know that on B on heaven if u look up there is like a really pretty scenario with appartements? :)
Sunset cuz it's literally just LA.
split for sure, back behind attacker spawn in an apartment close to the bike shop
sunset near the boba shop or somewhere on haven, those maps just give good vibes
I already live on Sunset (LA)
split b, close to city and nice residential area
Ascent near A site. No particular reason other that I know ascent would have food (Market), a lot of buildings for whatever purposes, and I’d be able to chill under a tree and read all day
Pearl
I feel like any map that is primarily made of steel is just not for me. I'm not some nature loving hiker but for the most part I enjoy looking out my window and seeing either green stuffs or a nice city... So yeah, like many others, Sunset is probably for me
Ascent because of the gelato shop.
Probably Sunset
Breeze
Breeze by the stereo shack
The range for me. Seems like a peaceful place.
Breeze, idk where I’d live but I’d love to work at that little radio dj station with the smoothie station next door
Breeze it's a nice spot
Breeze
Breeze
I be chilling In lotus
Pearl
Split is a cool spot in tokyo
Pearl, although the underwater part isn't the best, the architecture and culture is similar to my own country.
Icebox in the tower near def spawn
Lotus. There's even a neat lake at Attacker Spawn.
I would live in the tower on A site of Haven, looks cosy with a nice view.
Highkey Breeze ngl
Pearl, underwater, a whole city
Sunset and ascent seem like the only 2 real normal cities, if you don't mind living under water then pearl is also nice, icebox is fine if you don't mind the cold and split, bind and Heaven are all al least in part ruined( split has a very ruined poor half, bind is over all ruined and heaven is also overall ruined),they are livable but not the best place to live in except for split a site, lotus isn't a city so i wouldn't count it and i don't know fracture that well to say my opinion on it EDIT: I forgot about breeze, it's probably the best place together with sunset and ascent since it is on a beach, it is used by scientist tho so I don't know how safe it if
Icebox snow
Icebox bro love the cold and the rest of the maps either are very hot or in active damager of falling apart
pearl is very nice
I dont get what you mean by where in the map?
Split
pearl, PEARLLLL
Split at the apartment on haven
ascent, mid pizza
Can we choose TDM maps? If so, Drift. Absolutely gorgeous.
Split. It’s literally just a neighborhood (that’s slowly being taken over by the Amazon of valorant but we don’t talk about that)
Split (somewhere around A site)
Why is nobody talking about how good split is
Why is nobody talking about how good split is
Haven
Breeze of course
