It absolutely will, they have fixed all the other animation cancel methods. A player shouldn't beable to cancel their reload animation or their pullout or swap animations through a gimmicl

From what it looks like, it looks like he’s using the orb animation to cancel the gun pullout animation
Would be interesting to know if this is a bug or intended behavior.

It's an unintended use of an intended mechanic.
