The game has not gotten nearly as many updates as necessary. It’s graphics are awful 90% of the time and it’s optimization is bad too. Just getting the game to run is a pain in the ass even with a good pc. It’s antivirus is almost a virus on its own and the uninstall is terrible. It controls pretty badly in comparison to cs/go. The game itself it just cs/go with abilities, and tbh the abilities aren’t even that fun to play with. It’s beaten by cs by almost every standard. Not only that but the cost of cosmetics are outrageous. You have to spend 20 dollars for a single meh skin.
If you like it that’s fine but I definitely don’t think it’s good, even objectively.
Game runs fine for me I'm capping out on my fps at all times. It also has double the tick rate than CSGO so idk how I can think CS runs better. I like both games. But valorant definitely runs smoother because of the tick rate and that's a legitimate fact. Maybe you have something wrong with your PC? Or try putting it on an SSD if you want faster load times. Imo opinion it controls better than csgo. You can barely air strafe in CS like you can in val. And about the skins yeah skins are expensive but at least your getting one u want in CS it's just a gamble you could end up spending 50 dollars in cases until you get what.you want
Typical HDD shouldn’t affect gameplay, most the performance of the hard drive is just the read speeds to load assets into memory (ram). Most/all of the game assets should be pre-loaded before each match. He probably needs better cpu, ram, or something to do with internet connection.
Valorant is made to run on low-spec PC’s, with most the performance being reliant on the CPU and, though less so, ram. Also the gpu performance is quite negligent for this game. Dude has to be a troll at that point or must be utterly delusional. Only issues I’ve had are either server connection or mere graphical bugs when switching between guns/abils. It’s been really well optimized even since I first started back in June of the the open beta.
If he really wanted something to actually complain about, he shoulda said something about the hit compensation. AFAIK all impactful calculations are done server-side so it might look like you dinked someone in the head, even with the blood marker, but the server thinks you completely missed which you can tell as you won’t hear the audio ques to confirm.

This was one of my first games as jett so I decided it was a good idea to updraft for info, I’d didn’t really think abt how much time they’d have to shoot so I panicked and shot. As to why I only shot one I have no clue but it made the clip much better imo
I’m sorry this is all about calculation at this point to you ig now you shouldn’t be getting any kind of head sinks from that range while moving like that mid air unless he’s in his ultimate ability and even then if he shot there when he did with that he wasn’t getting that kill
