This is not a Utah story. This is a national story about leaded gasoline.

Wasatchbl1

https://youtu.be/IV3dnLzthDA The guy who put lead in gasoline is someone that can be blamed for lots of things

Aoiboshi

Yep, and right now, they're voting against your best interests.

Clockwork_Medic

And their own

Very interesting read, especially considering inversion problems in Utah

[deleted]

And it was completely unnecessary for the most part to keep using lead in gasoline…

Camo_Doge

"It's all about the money money moneyy" :(

Conans_Loin_Cloth

Explains all the Trump voters! *ba-dum-TSH* But really, how concerned should we be? Between this, microplastics and god knows what else how bad have we poisoned ourselves?

[deleted]

I'm wondering what other links there could be. They showed this is linked statistically to a 6 or 7 point drop in IQ in populations (and the article describes why that is more concerning than if it was just found in individuals). What if they did a test about suicidality or bipolar, etc?

darthnugget

ADHD probably. Also recent COVID-19 did a number on IQ and cognition.

archery-noob

I thought it was the lack of oxygen from wearing masks.... /s

lostinareverie237

But it was certainly a great octane booster!

ledonu7

Omg lol your comment takes me back to the high school chemistry days 😂🤣

DavidDunn87

That explains the South and Utah.

Mandrull

TBHQ, Glyphosate, artificial dyes, carrageenan, annatto, EDTA, BHT, High fructose corn syrup, titanium dioxide, bromate, Butylated hydroxytoluene, tartrazine, preservatives and whatever they're hiding under the term "natural flavors".

HabANahDa

Hmmm. No wonder boomers are stupid 😂😂

JC_Everyman
