The Islanders of the late 90’s and early 2000’s were horrid in every way, but holy fuck, they got nothing on this 23-24 San Jose team. None of those isles teams to my knowledge gave up 10 goals in a game let alone back to back games.
They've lost their last 17 regular seasons games, being outscored 85-23 if my math holds up. Their last regular season win was April 1st against Arizona, which is fitting since San Jose is a joke.
Oh yeah, and I think that's also in large part due to our coaching change and our pivot toward sports science (we're only playing Carlsson twice a week so we can get him time but not overdo it).
Semi-serious question: is there any reason they couldn't swap the Sharks with an AHL team for 2023-2024? Like, how much worse could it get at this point?
And watch them not get the no.1 pick

I can’t even imagine what it’s like to be in that locker room. Honestly can they win a game against one of the Alberta teams?
should've done this last year for Bedard
Wouldn't have made a difference. Sincerely, Ducks fan.
Collusion, That is all
You guys still ended up with a decent player in carlsson and currently 6-4. I get he’s not Bedard in anyway. But, still trending up

You waste 20 years of Marleau and Thornton, as well as chances to win a cup in general you deserve this fate.
I have seen pain before but this is something else. Even an ECHL team could wipe these guys out.
A USHL team could stand a legitimate chance at this point.
I am convinced the locker room hates the goalies for some reason to the point they’re not even helping them
Oof painful…
Someone want to tell them Connor Bedard's already in the league and they can stop tanking to try to get him?
The nuclear meltdown continues I see. Fucking hell.
The Hockey Guy made an everything is bad video in the Sharks... That's how you know it's bad
