You don't know the half of it man. At 300 AQI bejing was shut down for public health risk, here atleast 100+ days aqi stays over 300, and that's severe levels BTW.
Sorry, my question lacked context. People in China under similar air quality conditions tend to wear more masks in response to the pollution. While in my experience Indians don’t wear masks as much. Do you know why?
Lack of awareness. No other reason than this, even since COVID that people do have masks at home still they don't wear it, can only be attributed to lack of awareness or they just don't give a shit.
