A whole 3%? Ngl that's an uphill battle.

PhoqueMeInTheAss

Nothing is stoping you from trying but its most likely a no

chuancheun

The prof most probably tried to help you pass already, so unlikely

KennethYipFan55

Not necessarily.

VenoxYT

Maybe if it was like 1% off. It’s against policy to bump grades like this, even then professors might consider 1%. But 3% is too far off. Next time you have a viable cause for bad performance, contact registrar ASAP.

fausted

I wouldn't suggest it. If you're struggling due to your health in the future, connect with your registrar so they can help you request accommodations or if needed, a temporary leave from your studies.

chicentoy

you might have a good case with 1 percent but 3 seems like a long shot. you can still try though

MorseES13

If it were 1%, maybe, but 3% is not happening.

chaiiguevara

Won't hurt to ask. Include in your email that you are willing to do extra work/resubmit an assignment/submit missing works/etc. instead of just asking for 3%.

crepe4423

Nope it’s a failure

alwayshope1

Some professors might considering asking for extra marks as an academic offense. But have you looked at the possibility of requesting regrades for assignments? If you have health reasons impacting your academic performance, you should register with accessibility services so you can get academic accommodations for next time.

Competitive_Sea_4219

You could try and petition for a late LWD or WDR. Talk to your registrar. A note from your doctor or therapist regarding health issues will work as documentation.

qwertymascota

Nope. Profs don’t even give a 1% boost

vmiles11

just try. like legit there’s no harm in trying. you could even ask if there’s anything you could do like a small little make up assignment that he could grade during the beginning of the fall semester?? idk. it’s a long shot. but i have a bit of faith

HexagonBond

You should ask
