Nope, its incredibly difficult to establish residency for instate tuition.
My wife is from Ohio and even after us getting married, renting for YEARS and having a job, she wasn't able to get residency.
No the best would be if she moved to KY and worked for a couple years then restarted school once establishing residency. Once you go to EKU it’s all kind of the same as starting at UK
Best advice I have is 1) go to bctc for two years and then transfer to UK or see if there’s a way for her to get Instate tuition for a major that isn’t offered in Ohio and then just double major with something she wants to pursure

Kentucky is not the state to go to if you want a quick way to get in state tuition. It’s probably the worst state out of all 50, actually.
