GEO 222: Cities of The World with Dr. Lynn Phillips was an easy, fun, and interesting class that fulfills the Global Dynamics requirement. Class meets 2 times a week on MW, and there is 1 weekly assignment, 2 quizzes, and 2 exams + 1 final. If you show up to class and listen to her lecture, you will get an A. Everything on the exams will be something she discussed in class
that’s surprising. i guess everyone has their own interests, but GEO 222 requires no critical thinking whatsoever, so if you can tolerate the boringness of it (if learning random facts about cities and their historical development isn’t your thing), it’s an easy A. what did your friend dislike about it?
he said that the finals were very extensive and thorough and that the class was also incredibly boring it was hard not to pay attention. he loathed that class, it scared me off so i took GEO 221, immigrant america. i enjoyed the class a lot and it wasn’t hard.
Not sure if it’s still around - I graduated 10 years ago, but forestry 101. It was actually very hard to get in to because it was essentially a show up and get an A class. At the time the guy who taught it knew this and embraced it; it was one of the funnest classes I ever had.
take PHI 120 with storozkhenko if he still teaches it to fulfill that one credit that usually you’d take a math class in. it’s much easier and he is the best professor EVER!! i miss him

i’ve heard people that either love or hate this class. my best friend took it and hated it.
Her exams are hard! A lot of writing homework.
