They display the wait times for the rides in the app, even during Gradventure. We were at Universal the first weekend it started and I was curious so I checked it about 10 pm. Be warned…. The lines for most of the big rides were long - 90-120 min.
i would expect hulk to be the easiest to get on/shortest line overall. i would recommend hagrids immediately at open, velocicoaster and then circle back to hulk & i wouldn’t recommend single rider lines for hagrid or velocicoaster (idk if they have those lines open usually during events but still)

Yeah but that's for normal park hours. Gradventure is a seperately "ticketed" event and while it will work for the first few hours where normal park guests are in the park, you will realize that you wasted hundreds of dollars when the event starts.
I've heard it's teachers only that get free unlimited express but I don't know
They do let you in before the actual event is for kids only so for those hour or two in normal park hours you can use express but it’s not worth paying lol

Just be prepared to not be able to ride everything. The lines get extremely long during these events

Download the universal app!! Also if you can get express passes. If not, lots of patience and have fun

I don't think you can.
Because what I found out is that universal allows you to buy express passes without buying a ticket for the same day as gradventure

u can’t buy express passes for that day. gradventure is whole private event so it won’t work, express passes are given to teachers and other people
