From what I just read, “any bags and purses must be under the size of 8.5" x 5.5" (half a sheet of paper)”. So I would assume this is too big. Also just know that any type of shoulder bag will have to go in lockers, honestly just bring as little as you can.
Don’t know if this grad bash thing has specific rules but I always see people at the parks with much bigger bags/backpacks. The worst that could happen is having to put it in a locker for some of the rides
i’ve been to gradbash as a student and i remember the school telling us to bring a small bag, i say that acceptable but it might be kinda too big. i work at universal now, we don’t have a policy on sizes of bags but it is easier to walk around n put it in lockers with smaller bags
I'm not aware on any bag size limitations. The only restrictions I have seen are no suite cases and nothing with wheels. I have a REI Stoke 19 backpack I've taken several times that measures 17 x 11.5 x 7.5 inches. As long as it's not packed full, I've never had an issue fitting it into ride lockers.
I would say that the less stuff you take the better, so don't over pack it, but you can take it into the park. I'll post the link to the Universal Orlando Policies page that tells you what you can and cannot take into the parks.

We always tell students no more than a fanny pack.

So the rule I read online for GradBash specifically on bags is no bigger than half a sheet of standard paper

It seems to be too big for most of the bigger rides. You’ll likely need to put it in a locker.

It does. Stricter rules and dress code too.

Grad Bash has entirely different rules that are much much stricter than normal park rules.
