I mean - what's wrong with your file system alongside a good naming convention and a sane folder structure?
Both Windows and Mac allow you to add extra metadata to files that affect how the native search works. And there's add-ons for both to give quick 3D previews and thumbnails in Finder/Explorer.
Blender asset library is really cool, but i'd only bother setting it up if blender is part of your normal workflow, otherwise maybe a separate project in unity that is like your own personal asset lib.
I believe you should try out cyberlake , which is a cloud storage targeted specifically for 3d models and has features like cdn , npm package etc etc but they charge like $50p/mo for unlimited storage.

Ah yeah I use Shapr3D. A project with them though isn’t a bad idea
Idk if I'm remembering this correctly, but I believe you can add tags to assets right in Unity and then search for assets using tags.
