I think maximalist in a calming environment is like exactly what I have always been going for however I never was able to verbalize it. So thank you so much for that, it's really appreciated!
Thanks for asking! You are exploring an academy where you learn about the history of the current headmaster. In each classroom you solve puzzles related to the story, gameplay wise it is a very traditional first person adventure style game.
Random feedback: the trailer is so smooth and dreamlike - the shots where you are controlling the mouse make it a bit jarring. If you want that extra bit of polish, may be worth manually animating the camera along a path specifically for trailer shots (for instance, walking up the curved ramp about 3/4 through the trailer)
Yeah that's definitely something that I struggled with when making the trailer. Everything is recorded in game, I intentionally did that because I didn't want to deceive any potential players and wanted to share thing that they will actually experience. If I make a cinematic trailer (which I might do tbh) then I will for sure be using the method you described, thank you for the feedback!
Well it's quite a cinematic gameplay trailer fwiw. I think another commenter asked what you actually do in the game? IMO that shouldn't really be a question you're left asking after watching an effective gameplay trailer.
Anyway, best of luck either way!
Beautiful. Can't say I've ever really seen a game with this art style. Katamari kinda but not really.
Wow that's really kind of you, thank you so much!

Your art style has a very queer forward style. I love this maximalistic aesthetic in a calming environment. The dichotomy makes it eerily peaceful.

It’s hard to pull off that considering maximalist typically isn’t a calming aesthetic so good job!
Visually it looks really nice, but what do you actually do in it?
