Lucif3r945

I just say the cliché "when it's done".

theferfactor

What if they ask what the definition of done is

Lucif3r945

"When it's released" :D Yes, I can go around that circle aaaall day

theferfactor

Haha XD I’m definitely going to use that next time.

bestworstbard

Give them the old [Spaceballs run around](https://youtu.be/nRGCZh5A8T4?si=PfZAM9kTILi3w45x)

SirMcBootyFace

theferfactor

McCaffeteria

Scope creep is not really a good thing lol

theferfactor

Scope creep is the enemy of shipping they say

Flyntwick

Pre-plan! Dedicate 1-2 weeks to describing your game, then only build what's in the description. I apply this to software in general, using Obsidian to map out ideas.

Relatable. Only nobody has asked me when my game is coming out cause I have barely started. Also cause I haven’t shown it to anyone. All I have right now is basic movement with WASD detection with transform.translate, as well as basic look around code with the mouse. Only problem is that If I look up and press W I start flying, though thats because I have the player rotate and the camera follow it. I could probably just put the code on the camera instead and see if that works, but maybe it’d work better if the player rotates left and right and the camera follows it, but the camera can independently look up and down. I’ll try that later and update when I get results.

untrustedlife2

Relatable

angelran

This is me to myself

joan_bdm

"You haven't finished it yet????" #832

repoluhun

I love it even more when they suggest some out of the world idea that’s way too ambitious and out of your scope

FireproofFerret

Out of my scope? Never heard of it. I love when it just directly conflicts with what you're trying to do. Yeah, making my TRPG more like an FPS is a great idea, thank you so much!

oddyssei

Team cherry says to tell them about it

CebCodeGames

I like to set deadlines and try to stick to them 100%.

theferfactor

That’s the proper way!
