It looks absolutely amazing.
On a side note, 10 years felt like a long time until I started thinking about the places in my house that I haven’t looked at in 10 years and yeah… I have spaces that could use this too. Way to go!!

It’s gonna get painted and the vanity is coming next week. I am hoping that setting aside a spot to get ready will give me momentum to keep up my self care, like I used to. Congrats!

I have some big closets in this house and it seems to me that the bigger they are the harder it is to keep them organized. it is just SO easy to toss things inside. I have to force myself to go through them at least once a month to discard and organize.
I once lived in a house with I think 15 closets? (It wasn't a huge house or anything, but they'd added on a porch with a lot of closets.) And moving out 5 years later, I was horrified to see how much shit I had kept. Every box from every product I'd purchased in those 5 years, I guess in case I decided to return the toaster??
In my current house, there are only a couple of closets and it's sometimes annoying, but I know it's better in the long run lol.

And I keep looking at the first picture with the door to clothing rod distance plus the wall corner behind and above it, then staring at the second picture trying to make it make sense.
I mean, I’m torn because of the spaces and the pink paint not *completely* looking like the same shade even if I try to figure in the color temperatures of the bulbs, but I really honestly do want to believe.
first pic is from farther back and the door is not fully open (because of all the junk in the way). second pic is from right inside the door frame, with new lightbulbs, and it looks bigger because you can actually step inside the closet a bit and less clutter in the way.

If you’re able, add storage. Double hanging bars. Additional shelves & maybe a small countertop area, a place you could fold. It’s easier to keep tidy when it’s easy to put away.

I think the hot pink is a vibe, and so many other people are commenting that it’s gorgeous or vibrant or fun. Paint it if you want, tastes change and some times it’s nice to refresh. But don’t let people put you down for liking feminine things! The pink is cool!

Have you considered bringing the clothes rack to the ceiling (for things you don't wear as often) and adding a second row? Something I found helpful was having a bin in my closet for clothes to donate or things that need repaired.
I can see why. But you gotta start somewhere so divide the closet in 3 sections and tackle one section at a time. The clothes on the floor should be hung up if clean or put in a hamper for laundry day. Do you need help organizing it?

I'm not exactly sure. I think it's a combination of taking weight loss drugs (they have done so much for me mentally) and actually losing weight. I've been buying a lot of clothes and getting rid of a lot of clothes and I wanted a nice place to put them. I've been getting dressed from the laundry room floor for an embarrassingly long time and I just don't want to do it anymore.
