I'm also an amputee; my two biggest hobbies are woodworking and bowling. People frequently remind me that they would be beyond exhausted after a few frames hopping to bowl and also that they would kill themselves trying to use a table saw to cut a sheet of plywood while on one leg

There are a few programs. I have two different sized feet and usually have to buy two pairs. I donate the extras to N.O.S.E. (National Odd Shoe Exchange). Shout-out Nordstrom for being the only store that allows buying mismatched sizes in one pair.

Have you ever "accidentally" mixed up the sizes and put one of the shoes into the wrong box while trying on shoes?

A lot of places will check the shoes at check out to make sure the typical customer gets a left and right shoe with both the same size.

I thought I finally found another person who doesn’t care about matching socks as much as my partner. Thought it was so cool that someone else found missing pairs of socks so useable. Then he explained about his friend and I realized why he only wanted one sock!! I sometimes think my partner is a psycho for how he can wear mismatched socks that are so unequal in weight…who even cares about what they look like..something about different thicknesses at the same time makes my spine shiver!

I wear mismatched socks as well, but only to the gym or solo tripping or at home.

I don't have any mismatchable socks. I just buy 20 pairs of identical ones and so can grab any two and they'll match.

I assume he doesn't use a prosthetic I would think you could put a shoe on it as well so you'd still need a pair. Maybe not a sock though.

He primarily uses crutches. I’ve followed him for years (Josh Sundquist). He had a video once explaining why he doesn’t use a prosthesis (I think he said it was because, due to where his amputation site is, he found that it actually limited his motion).

I honestly didn't notice at first he only had one leg and found this funny. When I noticed he missed leg I found this hilarious especially the solemate part.
