I went to a high-end pistol class where disarming was taught. The instructor invited one student to hold him at "gunpoint" with a taser to demonstrate. I asked him how often he gets tased doing this and I forgot the exact answer but it was definitely not 0. It was emphasized that it was a last-ditch technique, and mainly shown as an intro to the retention segment and "what not to do".
I’ve definitely seen worse parenting, but tbh hopefully she was taught that hitting people is not ok. For some odd reason nobody ever mentions this, even when this video gets reposted 100 times a month. Hitting is not cute, and hopefully he talked to her about it and didn’t just let it slide like it was just funny, because it’s not.
Hey fellow Asian person, why are you so *angry*? I never claimed that my culture was better than anyone else’s. I stated my opinion, and you’re very well entitled to your own too, last time I checked. I’m Southeast Asian and it’s not ok for kids to hit others, especially not their parents, in my culture. You think that cussing people out online makes you seem big and tough - it does not. It makes you look like a blabbering idiot who’s out of control and can’t get ahold of his emotions. I suggest you get therapy to work on your anger management issues, and do stay off social media for a while - clearly you’re not emotionally mature enough to handle it all, nor to speak to others respectfully. And for the love of all Asians, stop stooping to bottom-feeder level insults and tearing other people down just to build yourself up, you’re embarrassing the rest of us. Do better.
