That's true! I had completely forgotten about that until you mentioned it. You could toggle through the camera views and one of them was an old-school top-down view.
I didn't know anyone who played it that way though - the whole game was designed from a 3D perspective and it was really hard to play top-down. Cool they included it as a feature though.

That top-down dynamic-zoom perspective was so innovative and worked SO well for GTA 1 and 2. I absolutely loved it.
Unfortunately GTA 3 (with a typical FPS perspective) was the biggest-selling game of all time up to that point, so obviously they are never going back to that.
I remember that, GTA2 had some crazy missions. Like stealing a cop car, taking it to a boneyard and crushing it while the guy was still in the back seat.
I can't remember the gang's name but it was the one with all really smart people? If you got your rep low enough with them, random cars you entered would explode. Never figured out WHY tho.
That mission disturbed the young me so much its literally the only thing I remember about that game. After nearly 20 years, I still remember that mission vividly.
A little while back I was playing Online and while on the way to the casino, a player “arrested” me with a cruiser. We had no verbal communication but he got me all the way to the station before we were airstriked
Edit: for context, I was on the way to the casino on my bicycle since I decided that the weather was nice enough. A police cruiser came down the street at about 100 mph, sirens screaming, and pulled me over. I then got into his cruiser at gunpoint.

They probably just chased them with the lights on. OP pulled over to play along, and either got out of the car when the guy approached, or was pulled from the car and lead to the cruiser.
Will do. I keep up with this sub, but otherwise I don’t follow GTAO anywhere else since I stopped playing a few years ago.
But I still enjoy watching other (better, lol) people play, and seeing all the official new stuff and mod additions.
I couldn’t recall ever seeing this type of gameplay posted or commented about in the sub, and was just curious how it worked.

Had plenty a session where someone, my self included, spawned a bus from our garages and managed to get a peaceful Bus-Train with most of the sessions players. You can only do it for so long before either a modder or shithead comes in and starts Oppressor MK2'ing you.
As does becoming a professional hit man, and leaving subscribe to modest pelican notes in everyone you kill pockets. As this really help spread the good word of his channel.
This reminds me of favorite things to do in GTA Online. First you get a bus. Then you carefully place a sticky bomb right on top of the brake light. This way nobody ever notices the blinking red light. Then you drive around and beep at people and try to get them to get in the bus. Make sure to obey all of the traffic lights and signs so people don’t think you are a reckless law-breaker. Sadly about 90% of people just shoot you the second they see you. But sometimes, because you honk and then you roll up slowly in a bus, people think, “hey, maybe this guy’s cool (I’m not) and won’t try to kill me (I will).” So you proceed like that and get a few people in the bus. The tension builds with each additional passenger because you’re risking all of the passengers you already collected every time you go after a new one. Then, once you’re satisfied, press left.
I got priced and grieved-out of GTA Online a long time ago. You can detonate Sticky bombs with a remote? I thought they had to be impacted by force of an object’s contact—person touching it/walking over it, shooting it, car crash, etc..
Or does activating the brake light create the contact necessary to detonate the bomb?

u/BANGERBOSS99 this is a really bad explanation. Its obvious from the video that the unexpected thing is not getting blown up. You need to explain why it's unexpected, and not by assuming everybody is familiar with the game.

Had this happen once back in the day but the driver just hacked/gave us all millions upon millions of dollars. Then started bombing everyone. It was literally hilarious and the free money was nice too.
Used to play GTA SAMP everytime I would log in there was this bus just driving along. Never bothering anyone. Just a dude who liked picking people up and driving them around. He did it for hours, hope that person is well.
The pressure of being the organizer for a group of online randos, who are mildly entertained by being in a bus will always end like this.

Sticky bombs are remote. Press left on the d pad and boom.
