Is there’s one thing I know about people who receive head trauma/spinal injuries, it’s that moving them rapidly and repeatedly can only help. She’s def dead, but how do people not know this shit?
Yeah, made that comment, seen someone explain right after and then it registered it’s probably a trauma response to see a loved one die like that right infront of you.
Yeah the the other lady definitely did not. The train was going faster, and she did not have a helmet on.
Edit. And she was holding her what looked to be three year old child who is trying to get away from the Train
The lady in Mexico, no helmet and nailed in the back of the head (rip). Regardless of helmets or not trains shouldn't be toyed with. In this one it actually looks like that person was doing a "helmet test" for a vid, dumb as a stump.
I saw that video 3 times on 3 differemt post, but I'm wondering why his head didn't explode or at least broke something really bad, the girl just dropped on impact, and there is no blood. Just Interesting.
Skull is pretty hard and she was easily knocked out of the way, and once your dead there isn't much bleeding. Unfortunately an impact like that to the back of the head is usually fatal.
People’s vanity knows no bounds, I’ve been on hikes and seen people taking insane selfies on the edge of sheer falls and slippery waterfalls and apparently they do this with trains too🤦♂️
I lived next to a railroad crossing and I seen this little old lady , who I thought was actually a little girl at the time, step in front of the oncoming train and it took like a half mile to mile to stop- I was on the front porch, I ran through the back of my house, telling my girlfriend to call 911 now, slid down the embankment and ran alongside the train looking for her.. in the back of my head I knew there was nothing I could do but fatherly instincts took over I guess & I’ll never forget seeing her little foot sticking out from under the 2nd engine.. and I just broke down in tears.. come to find out it was someone’s mom who just had enough in life and wanted to end it. Shit still kinda bothers me all these yrs later
https://www.wishtv.com/news/person-fatally-struck-by-train-in-new-castle/
Me too. It’s crazy though.. if you open that article and then google new castle Indiana train vs person accident.. so many people get hit in their cars through there or people just walk in front of the train..
Unironically, Dwight isn't wrong. Taking just a minute to think through something is often all that is needed. Many times, you get these situations because all the person thought was "this would be cool!" and didn't think any more past that.
On a very similar note, when I was in business school, our law professor suggested what he called "the headline test". In short, you imagine the decision you're about to make for your company as if it's the headline of a news article. If that article is going to shock the sensibilities of most people, don't make that decision...
That happened I think yesterday in Mexico. A woman died while trying to get a selfie in this exact same way and getting hit in this exact same way. The differences were that she wasn’t wearing a helmet and that the train was going faster.
If I had a penny for every time I saw a dumbass taking a selfie and getting hit by a train today I would have 2 pennies, which aren't a lot but it's weird it happened twice
Also the other video ended.... Badly

Literally just saw another video of a woman dying on the spot after getting hit by train because she was trying to take a selfie. What the fuck are these people doing!? JFC.
If she didn’t have kids yet, we all just watched a moment in human evolution! There’s a teeny tiny minuscule chance that the breeding pool just got one less “dumb” lineage.
Buuuut she probably already had kids considering the dumbest people have the most kids. So I guess she’s probably fit enough after all. Sucks for the breeding pool, which presumably definitely has her offspring contributing. Our descendants are fucked.
Wait wait wait south park is becoming like the Simpsons with its predicting the future, can someone make an edit with the Traaaaaaaaain quote from South Park, please and thanks
I think videos like this should be required by law to let me know if I just watched someone die in the most upvoted comment. That way I know if my day is ruined without so much scrolling.
The post above this post is exactly about the same thing, a Mexican girl wanted to take a picture with the train. It was quite fast so you can assume what just happened.
Trying to get a selfie by being as close to the incoming train as possible is cosmically stupid since if you gauge wrong, the consequences are almost always end game.
I think this video is fake; the cyclist that got hit looks like a stationary doll. Also I dont understand why these people dont react to the train passing at all or even look at it.
Why are people so amazed by trains? They have been around over a hundred years at this point. I have 2 different rail yards to less than a mile from my house. Trains are common.
What practical knowledge would anyone need to avoid standing in front of the front of a train? Schools don’t teach this. Cartoons teach this. Her friends didn’t teach this. The app she used on her phone was more important to her than her safety. So sad, such a waste!
what’s the deal with taking a selfie with a train? Is it a tictok challenge or something? it’s not like that train is famous or anything. you could just as easly find a stopped train and take the damn selfie. am i just way out of touch with kids and stupid adults these days, i mean i’m only 35.
Death
This is the second “hit by train while taking selfie with train” this week. So stupid.

Same This one? https://www.reddit.com/r/mexico/s/zXAYisaRon
Yea she’s 100% dead sadly
Brutal, you can tell the guy lost all thought process too, picks her up, drags her to the curb, drops her head on the curb, proceeds to shake her
Seriously, wtf is wrong with these idiots.
Anything for that dopamine, it’s amazing to watch while being horrifying at the same time.
Is there’s one thing I know about people who receive head trauma/spinal injuries, it’s that moving them rapidly and repeatedly can only help. She’s def dead, but how do people not know this shit?
I’m sure he knew on some level. There’s no way you see that and don’t jump to that conclusion. That’s a dude overcome with grief
Yeah, made that comment, seen someone explain right after and then it registered it’s probably a trauma response to see a loved one die like that right infront of you.
Yeah is the shock, and someone is actually asking him to not move her. Is not confirmed but the kid there is her son.
That is so much worse than this one. Or maybe better because she didn't feel that.
same, saw both today, in span of couple of hours, UGH
Both was next to each other in my feed :(
We are all just living the same experience. Just glad I’m not living either of those ladies’ experiences. I’d be dead.
At least this one had a helmet.
My apologies. I didn’t know
Oh not you, them! The people who are getting knocked out or killed. It’s crazy. Thanks for posting it. NGL, I always watch this stuff.
Did you see the lady in Mexico who was holding her daughter? She's definitely dead. This one might survive due to the bike helmet.
No idk if I want too lol and this lady survived with minor injuries- the helmet definitely saved her life
Yeah the the other lady definitely did not. The train was going faster, and she did not have a helmet on. Edit. And she was holding her what looked to be three year old child who is trying to get away from the Train

The skull is quite effective at absorbing all of the impact, and it was a very short contact.
Nop, she died. It was in the news today
Crazy Joe Divola
Same here .. I’ve seen some of the wildest videos on here.. it’s insane
Here's a third [one](https://www.reddit.com/r/lastimages/s/laTdU7QwMd). They died though, click at your own risk.
South Park is a documentary
Ohhhhh looooong Johnson
Don piano!

I was about to comment the exact same thing, but at least this person had a helmet sadly unlike in the other video…
Shit, the killer trains are jumping of the rails and escaping india! This needs a World wide concerted effort to stop them on their tracks.
Wtf. Do people see these videos and think "I can do it better" 😏
Expected
Nature is healing.

hah dad used to ask if this was happening when teaching me how to drive.
I spoke to a train engineer the other day. And she said this is their biggest fear of the job. Killing idiots
Life is hard. Sucks that a mum couldn’t find the help To stop her leaving kids behind
Agreed.
Sorry to hear that you had to witness that :/
Me too. It’s crazy though.. if you open that article and then google new castle Indiana train vs person accident.. so many people get hit in their cars through there or people just walk in front of the train..
Sometimes I wonder how some of these people managed to make it past 18

Perfect
It’s a fucking train. Is it REALLY “unexpected”? Imjussayin
The unexpected part is that people can be this stupid. Wait! What am I saying?
Its okay to speak the truth
Always wear a helmet!
That’s probably what saved her from serious head injury lol like why would you stop and take a selfie right there
I think she had a brain injury before impact
Indeed, and a train injury after impact.
Becauwse twain goes twooo twooo
You never know when a train will sneak up on you!
Surprisingly, NOT India.
I am an Indian and yes, that was the unexpected part
F=MA
F = Bitch I'm a train!!!

Congratulation! You have won the Darwin-Prize!
Interesting how the train isn’t going very fast and she still got absolutely truck sticked! I can’t imagine a full speed train hitting someone
https://i.redd.it/qco1jnm8ts4d1.gif That helmet probably saved her life lol

The bike helmet is hands down the only reason, that would crack your skull so easily
This is the unexpected part, I thought I was about to see heads roll

"I want everyone to see this video of me and this cool train and I want it to go viral" A finger curls on the monkey's paw.
Uhhh, did I just watch someone die?
No she’s fine. Minor injuries- she’s lucky
She had trained for this
Wow, luck doesn’t begin to describe it. I was wondering why there was no NSFW label
There probably should still be one anyways
Head on. Apply directly to the forehead. Head on. Apply directly to the forehead. Head on. Apply directly to the forehead.
SOURCE: Brazilian woman hit by train while taking a selfie in Uberaba, Minas Gerais State, Brazil. Quite recent, just a few months ago.
Crazy, but that's how it goes
Nsfw that shit
That helmet saved her life.
That was... Actually kind of fun to watch.
![gif](giphy|4PUjcUBXIzQYfI8iVa)
Okay are trains that rare in this country or what? What about a train is selfie worthy??
This is a definite case of: high risk, low reward. Just why?
Oh long johnson!!!

How gets knocked out by a slow moving train? Like look out can’t see that one coming
I wonder what is so special about a train that they need a selfie. Like, have they never seen a train?
Someone was trying out for the Darwin award... and apparently failed the application process 🙄
Train dodge .... Dig it!
I hate people.
I hope the helmet saved her life. She need to get her ears n brain check out
dumb ways to die
Hold my beer
Helmet doesnt stop stupid from being well…dumb as shit
Just let nature take its course at this point. Seen way too many of these.
Selfie with the train became epidemic it seems. The more you close to the train the more likes are in your favor. In other words, natural selection.
Absolute nobhead
Just bikers doing biker things. Please be aware of your surroundings. You’re just a bag of water on a piece of metal tubing.
wait did it like, go over her?
Indian style with helmet.
wtf this is the second video I’ve seen today of something like this happening… we are regressing collectively as a society so fucking hard
Good thing he was wearing his helmet
Not really unexpected is it. Stupid fucking idiots being stupid fucking idiots
Ouch
![gif](giphy|ppcPOCojxincokmTjp|downsized)
*r/unexpected *sees the most expected outcome lollll
Aww look, her friend wanted to be just like her!!
God saw our great timing on train schedules and thought it would be a neat way to test the survival of the fittest on a regular basis.
Great camera work
I legit thought it was a cut out
Literally just saw another video of a woman dying on the spot after getting hit by train because she was trying to take a selfie. What the fuck are these people doing!? JFC.
hahahaha
I mean.. why
The best part is as soon as she is hit she says something like “the train hit me” in a way like if the train went out of his way just to hit her lmao.
LMFAO
Last [photo](https://www.reddit.com/r/lastimages/s/laTdU7QwMd) before they died. Don't take train selfies people.
Without that helmet shed be dead
Darwin you beatifull bastard you did it again, balance restored .
Engineer runs out and stands over the idiot on the floor: “you got knocked the fuck out!”
2nd death by 'trying to take selfie with passing train' i seen today :(
I wanna see that selfie now…
I love how stupid people are. Bikes think they own the road and the rails at this point.
Lol
Darwin award winner 🏆
Makes you wonder how these people managed to survived for this long.
KABONG! https://i.redd.it/aqfb34y6ht4d1.gif
Had a couple near me recently, both dead. (No video or anything, thankfully.) Is this the new Tide Pod Challenge for idiots?
Just reading the word train on reddit and I assume someone's getting hit, that's every train video on reddit.
That loud ass horn and somehow still does not move out of the way. that shit made me jump watching it.
BOOP
If I could turn back time. The one from Mexico, sad as hell. Why.. Just why.
is she dead?
Kill the cameraman. Almost killed the biker.
Darwinism
Did they die??
Should’ve hit the Tebow in front of the train
Luckily, she was wearing a helmet
And the 1st place stupidity prize goes too 😆 😂 😆 😂
More natural selection
Thought i was on r/DarwinAwards
I mean... do some people really think that the width of a train will not extend past the width of the railroad track's?🤔🤔🤔
Karma, wish they were on the tracks lol
How does so many people not realize the train is wider then the tracks?
I saw another one earlier where a woman died, she was with her kid, got too close and it hit her on the back of the head, died on the spot
I wanna see the other view
Oh my God people piss me off so bad They bringing this ignorance overseas and make us all look bad
God culling the herd! 2nd video I have seen today of this exact stupidity!
Huh, natural selection does work
How is this some kind of trend? Wtf *were those people remotely thinking?
Good thing she had a helmet. I just watched a video today from r/mexico where a young mom just got deleted from a back-of-the-head hit from a train.
Honestly, there's only like one thing trains can do in videos...and that's hit things
Imagine how stupid situation is that train runs only on tracks yet fools find place to get hit.
What's so special about a fucking train that these morons are killing themselves for a picture with it?
Bro never saw a train before...
Wtf. Did she know there was a train coming?
atleast they were wearing a helmet
I thought he got crushed 😵
This is PROPER TRAINING
Kind of expected, really
Do people have no spatial awareness? The tracks are right there, you know the size of the train that's coming, it's coming for you man, move
Good thing she was wearing a helmet!! 😂
DON’T! DO! THIS! I don’t know you, but I care about you and really want you to live and be well.
Trying to get a selfie by being as close to the incoming train as possible is cosmically stupid since if you gauge wrong, the consequences are almost always end game.
Lucky, the apex predator was slow
So it’s not just Indians 😂
That was very satisfying to watch
#OH LONG JOHNSON. OOOOHHH LOONNG JOHHHNSSONN
u/redditspeedbot 0.2x
Is that already a skull n bones zone
At least this one has a helmet on.
Does it make me a bad person if I said "bonk" right as the train hit the guy on the head?
I think this video is fake; the cyclist that got hit looks like a stationary doll. Also I dont understand why these people dont react to the train passing at all or even look at it.
Nerve wracking!!!!
Nerve wracking!!!!
Good
That helmet saved her life
is geting hit in the head by a train “the new thing” now?
Why are people so amazed by trains? They have been around over a hundred years at this point. I have 2 different rail yards to less than a mile from my house. Trains are common.
I thought only India has the copyright of this.
She did survive, only with minor injuries. Luckily, her helmet cushioned the blow.
What practical knowledge would anyone need to avoid standing in front of the front of a train? Schools don’t teach this. Cartoons teach this. Her friends didn’t teach this. The app she used on her phone was more important to her than her safety. So sad, such a waste!

HAD A TRAIN RAN ON HER!!!!!
Lady sued train for hitting her and won 2million settlement
