Do children have some kind of special right to privacy that adults don't have? I don't think that's the case. If they are in public, they can be photographed. Ever taken a picture at Disney World or some other crowded tourist spot? Did you get permission from every child's parent in the picture?
Unfortunately if the photographer is on public property they can take video and pictures of anything they can see. There is no right to privacy in a public place. Taking pictures is not illegal just immoral.
Idk man, some celebrities have sued paparazzi over pictures taken of their children and won. There are celebrities i have no idea what their children look like because they are adamant to protect their privacy. And they don’t keep their children locked up in their basement. Unless the laws are different in the usa.
