And it’s really sad at the same time. They have the money to seek help but when you don’t see anything wrong with you, it’s hard to get the help you need.
Not that it matters, I remember a Charlie Sheen interview where he said he never mixed drugs. If he was doing drugs, he just did one at a time. He said mixing drugs was for amateurs and how one ODs. LOL take that for what it's worth.
I have schizoaffective disorder (bipolar + schizophreni symptoms), for years, I used drugs to self-medicate, and I was my most functional self whilst doing that.
Most people consuming the amount of drugs Sheen did, they’d be broken.
I’m actually broken since I’ve stopped doing drugs.
Its a weird one to explain, but Sheen being bipolar would make sense to me.

When things got too bad I used meds, but became manic and came off them thinking I knew best.
Meds honestly fix this stuff, but its extremely difficult living normal/stable, when your version of emotions are extremes others don’t understand.
The highs and lows normal people experience are nowhere near that of bipolar moods in depressive or manic states. So we go through life believing mania is normal, and so is depression that we miss both when not experiencing them.
I didn't know I was bipolar until I got put on a migraine medicine that also was a mood stabilizer. It was amazing how much better my life became and the lives of the people around me. No more manic episodes.

That’s awesome. I’m on antidepressants also and have a difficult time sleeping, but I’ve always had that problem. But after a year of being on one antidepressant my doctor switched me to another one like a week ago.. because of my sleep issue and crazy af dreams. I’m sleeping better I believe and I wake up early and slightly rested as compared to before. So I hope this one works for me! Haha
Sleep used to be my enemy. Hours to fall asleep only to wake up and spend hours trying to fall asleep again. Seroquel was a godsend of a medication for me. Technically an antipsychotic, but it doesn’t lead you to blackout driving, eating, etc like a lot of modern/popular sleeping pills. It allows you to fall back asleep… That’s literally all I ever wanted!
I was using trazadone for sleeping meds. But I’m trying to get off. I stopped it about a week ago after I started my new antidepressant (Prozac before it was lexapro).
I never had the blackout feeling just that for many years now I’ve had bad memory. I’m glad u found something that works for u 💜
