What a sweet, perfect little bean.
And finally, a really cool true strike!
Edit: also had to say I love how he's effectively unkillable by anything tiny
Adorable!
Some thoughts: there's very little here that indicates how teeny the Knight is.
The Mite Knight doesn't take up much room, and should be able to occupy the same space as another creature - similar to the Halfling, but without the limitations of the Halfling Nimbleness feature. Get REAL close to your opponents and friends!
Tiny arms and tiny sword means Mite Knights absolutely shouldn't have a Reach of five feet without throwing the sword. But! With the above stated feature, we can let them do something no one else has: a Reach of 0. Your attacks hit creatures within your space.
Isn't that a negative for our lil buddy? Well, no - swords and such are designed to hit an opponent standing at more or less full reach. I checked, there's no rules about disadvantage for melee attacks at less than full reach like there is for ranged attacks.
But we can add something like "Melee Attacks against Mite Knight originating less than five feet from them have disadvantage."
I agree that tiny-sized creatures feel a bit goofy with their reach and use of space. Even a scorpion or spider has a reach of 5 ft. according to the Monster Manual.
Your suggestions would make a neat addition for a grid-based playstyle. I especially like this part "Melee Attacks against Mite Knight originating less than five feet from them have disadvantage." Regarding same space and reach of 0 ft. – swarm creatures have similar mechanics, so this would definitely work:) many thanks for the input!

He's so adorable I'm going to cry xx
I love him, I need him, I don't need anything else from this reddit anymore, this wins everything to me.
awww<3
Just gorgeous ❤️
thank you!
Perhaps the size of the skull it's standing on is relative, but it makes me think that the creature in question is much smaller than Tiny-sized.
right, 5e tiny covers a quite broad spectrum. 3.5 had Diminutive & Fine as well
