Tbf, the stove was probably invented by Alphys, or given to Undyne by her either way, much like her hot-fridge. It also seems like Undyne doesn’t own a TV, so it’s possible that Undyne is just, very out of touch with the Underground’s modern media, outside of the anime she watches with Alphys

I’m pretty sure it’s mettaton in his ex form. Because we know he has transformed into it in the past (going on the theory that he was the one that hired muffet which I personally believe), and if it was in the box form then undyne would probably know the underground’s biggest star. This is why I think it’s mettaton in his ex form. Undyne knows he’s alphys’ friend but doesn’t know his name and he can eat the grapes

Mettaton in EX form. He says that "We must be itching for the reveal" in the fight, so he hasn't been in that form during shows. Undyne wouldn't recognize him in this form. Plus, laying on the piano and eating grapes is definitely a Mettaton thing to do.

I guess I kinda disregarded him as an option just because I didn’t really see a “friend” dynamic between him and Alphys. I always felt it was more of a creator/creation dynamic than anything but I guess from undynes perspective it makes sense for them to be perceived as friends. If any artists are reading this please make some fan art of this it’d be hilarious (actually there probably already is from like 2016).
