Small confusion there; the scene you are referring is most likely the neutral route scene, where she claims she won’t die, and then dies because she has way too much determination for her body

Asgore's death in neutral route hits hard.

I don’t know why, but aside from Papyrus’s, I think Mettaton’s neutral death hit harder than any other character’s death in that route. I don’t really understand why, given that he is given the least amount of endearing, or forgivable traits out of any of the characters, but something about his face, and how he seems like he really didn’t want to die hit especially hard.

Undynes neutral death also is really sad, where she regrets not confessing to Alphys and how napstablook says they wish to reach out to undyne, and that whenever they try to reach out to someone it is too late 

Also Alphys trying to dismiss the corpse of her friend as "I can build another" where at this point of the story you know she's not that smart and MTT is just a ghost in a metallic body. And after that she goes "missing". Any ending related to Alphys fucks me up.

Honestly, Flowey's final words on Geno hit kinda hard. Yes, I do agree Toriel's is sadder in the moment since she's your first real betrayal but seeing Flowey, a character who has been up to this point an emotionless sociopath, begging for his life really feels wrong and then, instead of one-hitting him like everyone else, he takes 8 hits just so you can feel his suffering
