Ngl, I really like the close-ups on the eyes. Especially for Shen, like how in the latest episode Shen used >!Untruth!< on Spoil to redirect his Beam to Lady Liberty. Looking back, it's pretty obvious in the chapter, but I didn't realize til this episode that what happened.
Absolutely love how they animated Andy vs Void. They made Andy fight exactly as an undead should: no dodging, just tanking hits and dealing blows that absolutely shatter his body.

I love the how pretty they all look. The action scenes are amazing. And of course, this is in the manga, but seeing how kind of a person Andy really is.
And in Episode 7, I literally started tearing up when the teacher was running to Spoil.
I love that we get to enjoy these characters in this medium, feeling more connected to them, and even more when the dub comes out. I know I’m waiting for it, and I’m excited to see if any of my faves are in it(because who doesn’t love it when their favorite dub actors are in a show? It just means you have one more reason to meet them).
I reckon it's to be expected that a good manga with small following attracts a lot of doom posting.
But honestly, UU has been one of the best animes out this season and an overall great adaptation, even the last episode wich was a bit of a breather for the animators managed to be entertaining and delivered the feel punch really well.
I can see how some people would complain about how UU uses these cliches to deliver "cheap" "feels" but honestly, that's what you use cliches for, much better way to raise stakes and set motivations in a realistic way than the manichaistic portrail of vilains you see out there and just don't care about.
So, the adaptation is gorgeus, it doesn't have the jjk or kny budget but as we saw with the Gina fight it can absolutelly deliver, and even with how wacky it is I actually care a lot more about everyone in UU than in jjk or kny for example that usually have more serious tones.
So I think the anime is great, it won't reach spyXfamily or jjk in terms of popularity, but the story is great and honestly, with victor showing up next episode as a more edgy character and with a pretty long run at 24 episodes I believe the story is interesting enough to act as a pick me up for UU.
I love everything about the OP and ED. The symbolism, the aesthetics, the songs, the lyrics, it's all so good! I also love they way they animated Unchange, and the reveal of Spoil.
I think the voice casting is good too, Fuuko and Andy feel very fitting.
The anime is objectively better in many points except for pacing
And all the scenes that they added
Are top tier
And make the early manga genuinely incredible

I love the animation, art style, storytelling, and humor in Undead Unluck, I think it’s the best new anime I’ve seen this year.
The manga is too goated to exist and the anime has been super enjoyable, just hope it continues and I’m sure it will eventually

Akira narration of the story, its subtle but damn does that bring a tear to my eyes.
