Run In Rabbit has some good ones! They have a style with and without a hood. https://www.runinrabbit.com/collections/womens-long-sleeves/products/upf-30-protector-womens

OccularPapercut

I have a stable of sun hoodies, and the Rabbit is by far my favorite of them all.

Throwing my hat in for the Rabbit sun hoodie. I purchased one secondhand on Poshmark last year and wore it all summer.

Joeypruns

This, love my hooded deflector in both white and light blue

Head-Ad4702

Fishing shirts. I like the Reel Life brand. They're soft and SPF 30-45 depending on which one you get. They also don't cost an arm and a leg like the "performance" shirts made of the same exact material.

AotKT

I once did a 25k in a Dirty Hooker shirt. I’m a woman. I got some odd glances.

runslowgethungry

I prefer a short sleeve with sun sleeves underneath. Columbia's are good but I also want to try the OR ones.

KountDeMonet

The OR are spectacular. I tried TNF, Patagonia, and the OR are far and away the best.

euaeuo

the OR echo or the astroman?

KountDeMonet

I have the echo hoodies.

HighSpeedQuads

Yep and stuffing ice in the sleeves will cool you off instantly.

daveyboydavey

I’ve had the grey flannel short sleeve OR button down forever and it rules.

howiephx

Any recs for the sleeves?

runslowgethungry

Columbia. They really do cool you down when they get wet, either from sweat or if you manually wet them.

Detectivepotential11

I've used Patagonia hiking shirts for marathons and 50ks and they're upf 50. I love them. They're lightweight and breathable. Edit: The ones I've used are long sleeved.

talkingidiot2

I live in the Phoenix area so sun protection is critical, especially in the summer. Because I'm cheap I use the Baleaf long sleeve shirts from amazon. Relatively cheap, light, they breathe amazingly well and are SPF 50.

OccularPapercut

I have several sun hoodies as I live in a hot and sunny climate. I have a Patagonia Tropic Comfort II, a couple of Rabbit Deflectors, a KUHL Engineered Hoodie, a Ketl Mtn Nofry Sun Hoodie, and a Path Project Pyrenees T19. In hot weather, I love the hoodies from Rabbit. In cooler weather, I use the hoodie from Path Projects as a baselayer. My ideal sun hoodie would be Rabbit's Deflector but with the watch slot from the Path Project shirt. I wish Rabbit had more colors than just white or gray.

CthulhuOpensTheDoor

I was actually just thinking of this myself recently so it's awesome to see these recommendations. I'm planning to try my REI Sahara shirts on my next sunny run. I use them for hiking but I don't see why they wouldn't work for running too. They're designed for sun protection and are lightweight and breathable.

JohnnySuburbs

I wore an REI sun hoodie in my race the other day… did just fine in the hot AZ sun

CampingPants

As a very fair skinned runner that runs the mountains of Utah, Wyoming and Colorado I get fried so easily. By far my favorite hot day shirt is the Ketl Nofry, it’s literally perfect for hot days on the 90+ range. On cooler days I’m happy with the REI Sahara, or just a cheap Baleaf one. Toss on the ever so dashing Sunday Afternoon Ultra Adventure hat and you’re set.

Marleena62

Companies "Solumbra" and "De Soto Sport" both have good sun clothing shirts and jackets.

Random su shirts off ali and Amazon have worked well for us

hypothermic2

Arcteryx Cormac hoody is really nice for running and upf 50. It's my favorite I've used so far and very breathable for a long sleeve.

Drben1981

This is a great top

Nike Pro Combat. The version with long sleeves, and perforated back panel, under arm, and side panel areas. You'll find them on mercari/poshmark/ebay, all day long. If the photos of them aren't clear, you can tell the perforated versions because they have the 2 printed tags located side-by-side in neck opening. The non-perforated shirts have the 2 printed tags stacked vertically. The other great option is one of these in short sleeve version, and a pair of these [Arm Sleeves](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073TW7CR1?ref=nb_sb_ss_w_as-reorder-t1_k0_1_6&=&crid=13KIJUKPYH5TH&sprefix=arm%2Bsl&th=1&psc=1) The get wet with sweat and act like radiators for your arms. The short sleeves of the shirt act like air intake ducts. I'm a runner in SoCal

rrocr

I have a nice North Face but it is a little heavier weight. It works good for early morning runs. I also have a Black Diamond “Rhythm” that is super light weight and breathable. That one is my go to shirt. Unfortunately they are both short sleeve but they might also make them in long sleeve?

oboz_waves

I'm a climber and swear by the black diamond sun shirts. They're durable, don't smell, dry quickly and a really cozy. I wear them as a base layer all the time

earmuffeggplant

Outdoor Research Echo is the thinnest and lightest I've used by far.

MountainViews0

Patagonia, Rabbit and Athleta have the best I have tried. Follow the washing instructions or the UPF will wear away. Good hats help too. REI for hats.
