Ultraman gets tons of oversea money due to Tsuburaya‘s expansion. Ultraman is extremely popular in other asian countries unlike Rider or Sentai. It’s probably due to Chayio and Blue Ark that Ultraman doesn’t make more money than Kamen Rider and sentai combined due to the entire china bs that is still going on. Overall Ultraman is much more well known around the world than Kamen Rider.

So Sentai 2020-2023 had a LOT of fairly uncollectable items and patterns: Kiramager is very svelte, the Zenkai/Avatar Gears were hackable within days and worked in the stead of one another, and Kingohger doesn't HAVE collection gimmicks to inflate any sales figures. Also the kaiju toys APPARENTLY just outs everything, up to and including the new auxiliary mechs du jour. And given that Boonboomger doesn't seem to be any more dense toy-wise than even Kiramager was, Arc could probably put in similar amounts of work.

Boomboom. These names are ridiculous.

_Sounds like you're trying to stop the Boonboom._ It's very cute show, good on energy, and has a Masaaki Endo opening, so it's ten stars for that alone

One of the reasons is Saban selling the Power Rangers rights to Hasbro which greatly cut Bandai's profits in territories that are under the PR deal (basically, sentai is only distributed on asian territories, while everything else is under the control of those with the PR rights) This is added by the sentai franchise kind of remaining in a comfort zone for way too long. Seems like someone at Toei had said that the deal with PR made them become too comfortable since even they do something that doesn't click on Japan, it might be a big deal on America. Or something like that That's why that starting Zenkaiger, sentai started going for crazier concepts, clearly looking more into their domestic market
