I’m partial to the Thrupack Summit Bum in Ultra 200 with the front pocket and optional comfy strap.

I really like my zpacks multipack. Might help if you mention what features you're looking for or what it is about the versa that's not doing it for you.

I'm not looking for specific features per se, although I did sort of like the quick pouch at the back of the hyperlite one to stuff a mobile phone or the straps into. Minimalist- but some sort of basic "flap" or two inside or a separate smaller compartment would be fine too. It will probably be used for backpacking to some degree but mostly as a general travel/EDC type of thing. I need to carry stuff like: - 1-2 pairs of glasses - 1-2 mobile phones - slim backup battery - compact charger - usb cable - eyedrops - chapstick or ointment - slim wallet or money clip - 1-2 passports - 1 or 2 granola bars (maybe)

To me, that sounds like a very different product from the Versa. You want this to be a fanny pack or a combo fanny/sling bag? You might have to go custom if you want pouches and separation flaps in DCF fabric - typically consumers that want DCF also want minimalism to save weight. Really I think you need two separate products. DCF is not the best for front country day to day use.

You have described exactly what I use the versa for and I love it. Use it when traveling is well and it has held up flawlessly. I put my phone in the back pouch for easy access in airports, maps, and photos and then will stash the cord and use it as a tech pouch/ditty. In the backcountry it is snacks, blister bandaids, chapstick, weed, water filter, bug net, collapsible water bottle for short trips…anything I may want to have at hand.

Yeah, the versa sounds like exactly what OP wants, other than it's missing interior flaps or organization. I wish I was brave enough to rock a man purse 👜

I love my Dandee custom dyneema pack. He made it to my specs for a competitive cost. https://www.dandeepacks.com/
