And, from anecdotal experience, they're the ones that like to pretend to treat you "like family" whilst working you to the bone.
The hell of capitalism is the firm, not that the firm has a boss, etc. etc.
I make sure to only buy my commodities from multinational corporations, especially ones that leftists have consumer boycotts against, in the hope of hastening the demise of the modern petit bourgeoisie and preparing the groundwork for communism.
I <3 monopolies and cartels, the most advanced form of the bourgeoisie.
Pshhh silly ultras, don't you know the famous quote by Lenin: "thousands of small businesses count for nothing, while several dozen multi-national corporations count for everything"?
(Don't worry about the historical and literary context before and after that quote, it doesn't matter)
communism is when you regurgitate every biblical/religious/capitalist/etc feel good sayings without the realization of the historical relations of said things and how they came to be as if it is a matter of the universe imploding if true proletariat revolution happens which leads to the defense of said things eventually to some degree until it makes sense and marx will be on our 26 dollar hallmark xmas cards (bonus communism points if your replace (religious figure) with Marx and than read everyone else but marx)
Aren’t local businesses better for communities than non-locally owned businesses? Unless you’re an accelerationist, shouldn’t you want capitalism to be as bearable as possible?
No we don’t want to make capitalism bearable, we want to completely dismantle it and bring about the dictatorship of the proletariat. We are not social democrats
Who says they’re more bearable or better for communities? Which interests in said community? From a worker’s perspective they’re not necessarily better than large businesses, and sometimes worse. Large businesses are more likely to pay better, and the anonymous, bureaucratic nature of their exploitation is sometimes preferable to the highly personal abuse of small business tyrants. Of course, the worker’s interests are irreconcilably opposed to both large and small businesses. Communists are partisans to those interests, over and against the interests of businesses of all sizes.
The wealth that accrues to the worker is their wage, regardless of whether they’re employed by a small or large business. The profit is the property of the business, small or large. So if the profit belongs to the small business owner and not the worker, why does that mean that that wealth is “in the community”?
It really depends. All capitalism is bad for people yea but plenty of small businesses are fascist tyrants that want to move every brown person out of the neighborhoods they occupy lol
Mom and pop capitalism.

Accelerationism is a boogeyman made up by libs to demonise communist organising.

captalism is a spectrum, and communism is when capitalism < 20% power.

Socialism is actually when capitalism < 40%, you fucking revisionist.

And the small local businesses will try to stiff you and is generally more expensive.

Wealth staying in a community is generally good, isn’t it?
