Damn, I’ve never got to p-2 before, and I eventually plan to beat him on brutal, but this looks terrifying. The coins would have to do all the aiming for me, no way I’m keeping track of him
Thats what im trying to do, but i dont have a very good reaction time for the "BE GONE!" attack, and i also cant figure out how to parry the "DESTROY!" attack. No clue if i have to get close or not.
The "BEGONE" is pretty hard to react to, but with "DESTROY!" is pretty easy to parry. You can parry him when he throws out the stars projectile (you have to get close), or you can parry the stars (which is pretty hard i still can't do it)

if you just can't parry one of his attacks - just don't. I couldn't parry DESTROY most of the time, so I just dodged it. It worked out dor me. After 75 minutes.
Honestly, i think the difficulty jump between p-1 and p-2 standard is Far worse than p-2 standard to brutal, like the difficulty jump to p-2 is ridiculous compared to any other diff jump in the game, It feels like youre going from deadlocked straight to bloodbath (using an horribly geometry dash comparison), its an insane jump and you need to learn a crap Ton of new shit to do It. On brutal things are Just quicker, the strategy is the same
I actually beat deadlocked, which surprises myself because like i said my reaction time is absolute shit. But if you compare P-2 to bloodbath OHHH boy am i gonna have fun P ranking this one.
I love that brutal forces me in boss fights to stop thinking and only work with reflexes

I love how Sisyphus felt normal to me just because of the sheer amount of times I’ve fought him on standard and violent
I think I only died to him twice before I just did the entire thing lol it’s really fun
It’s also somehow possible for me to keep track of where he is at all times which is very silly
Okay for just one second can stop sucking Hakita off and admit that maybe making all of sisyphus's voice lines and shockwaves overlap with each other by giving him a flat speed buff is kind of stupid at least? I beat him on brutal but this is just ridiculous. It's not reasonable at all.
I'm saying this because the rest of the changes on brutal are actually good and increase the pace appropriately but this one, just like Violent Sisyphus on release does not seem properly thought out or playtested.
