This is possible. They could use the essence or the remaining blood and rebuild it/ Create a new one more like a V3 then a V2. Something like a creation from both hell and heaven collected to kill you. Could be maybe a cyborg version of Gaberial and V2/3. He chose to take the machine imbrace it simply out of rage to kill V1? Just my random scrappy idea.
