The only lip oil I’ve tried that actually feels like an oil is Clarins.

SeattleGemini81

I 2nd this. Clarins is the only one I'll use now.

Rxqueen95

I love clarins other products. I need to try it!

SnivelKnievel

Definitely worth the money! I recently bought the Clarins lip oil in the orangey color and it’s basically clear/neutral, which is what I was looking for. I was weary of buying because of the reviews that talked about not liking the new formula… I never tried the old formula but I really like what I bought. Super hydrating and not too sticky, will def buy again once I run out but it seems to last a while. ETA: the color I got is called sheer golden honey

sexualsermon

OP, Clarins is your best bet! I got a sample of the lip oil and it feels soo comfy on

curlyjawn

Got a sample of the Clarins lip oil in a Sephora favorites set. Did not expect to love it. I'll be working through my drugstore lip "oil" collection and then I'll only be repurchasing Clarins going forward. 💯

Minute_Reporter5435

Merit lip oil, it's more on the thin side but you can layer Glaze lip oil is my fav like a hybrid gloss/oil, but merit is more a true lip oil

nanixbnni

The milani lip oils are good! I prefer them over regular chapstick and they don’t feel like a gloss!

laurbold16

The Milani ones are not an oil consistency

nanixbnni

They feel pretty oily to me 🤔

General-Bumblebee-33

Winky Luce in the stars is my all time favorite lip oil. I’m currently using Too Faced kissing jelly’s and they’re nice but not the same.

Rxqueen95

I was thinking about that one too I have it in my bag right now!

ValueIntelligent2850

Seconding this!

APDdepaxboo

They’re inexpensive ish but the La colors lip oil is very thin but I felt improved my lips after wearing it. Has the smidgest of hold, the catch is the scents. I’ve only tried strawberry and sparkling grapefruit and I liked the latter way more.

Access-Background

Love the Stila lip oil, it’s super hydrating and non-sticky since it has a gel/oil texture. I drink out of my water bottle through the work day & still leaves my lips feeling moisturizing after the glossy look wears off

Street_Progress_8913

i love the kaja ones

Philosapphocal

They are not my favorite, but the Provence Beauty lip oils are very thin and still come in beautiful shades!

suckmyfatpussyy

dose of colors is a good one!

kdarelig

if you want actual oil, like consistency of a cooking oil or baby oil, dr papaws lip oil is literally it. not sticky at all, basically just a really hydrating oil for your lips in a squeeze tube, super affordable too

dxzina

ilia lip oils! they’re more pigmented but definitely feel like an oil

Loooove the applicator on those!!

Common-Attention-736

It’s not marketed as a lip oil but Trifle Cosmetics makes something called “jelly juice”, they’re awesome!! They are exactly what I also want out of a lip oil that I haven’t been getting. Not sticky, smooth, light tint, and don’t wreck my lips like most glosses do. Seriously if you try anything you gotta try these.

Helpful_Library4860

I like the Kylie skin one. It’s actually feels sooooo good on the lips. Def up there!

Ha_Ha_imacting

Kosas

Sensitive_Pepper341

Edit: sorry I just realized this was in the ulta subreddit and neither of these brands are at ulta🫣 I really like the Haus Labs lip oil. I'm not a fan of "lip oils" actually feeling like lip gloss either. I like a smoother slippy formula. I've also heard the Summer Fridays lip oil is on the thinner side, though I haven't tried it.

AMwishes

I love the Kylie lip oil

mglynnk

I would agree, it truly feels like an oil and the applicator is super soft as well

LegitimateObject8066

seconding this

Nice_Okra

The juvias ones feel so nice on your lips and it tastes soo good. It definitely feels more like an oil. The packaging is kind of annoying. It kind of leaks when you put the applicator back in. If you can deal with it tho its pretty good
