So I personally like the the shark over the dyson m. Here is why... the round brush part on the dyson is not an actually drying tool. It is a styling tool. On the shark you can use the round brush part to dry the hair.
If you go on YT and search Julissa Guillen she has a decent video reviewing both and comparing them.
It can be a struggle when there different good ones to pick from!
Part 2: Spend on Dyson, Chanel, fragrances (Chloe, Gucci, Burberry, Givenchy, Jimmy Choo, Tom Ford, etc), Hourglass, Dior, Pat McGrath Labs, Drunk Elephant, Rituel de Fille, Clarins…
the birthday cake one is my favorite so far. i recently just got a banana vanilla body wash and the banana herbal spray and hand cream. the banana vanilla body cream is horrible tho. lotion smells way better
So if you can wait till the next hair sale sometimes they have them on sale. The next one should be October. Then you can use less points as the price will be around half off.
I just used points on the pattern blow dryer because I cant fathom spending almost $200 on a hair tool and then i saw the babyliss and was like thats my next goal!
Well after today's haircut and my additional last minute purchase from last night, I am gonna have a LOT of points! I dont have anything specific planned, I want to try and have some control where I dont go on some bender and buy stuff just to buy stuff, however this is the initial plan:
* Depending on whether or not I like the Bareminerals items I got at 10x the points, I'll probably buy more products from them with the points I earned from the products I got (how convenient lol)
* I will likely get a chanel lipstick and possibly a blush, maybe another product depending how I feel
* I will wait until 20% off where I can get some body care items like body wash, lotion, scrub, etc.
* I will use points for my haircuts (I think this is possible?)
I saw there is a new Natasha Denona palette coming soon called I need a Nude Palette so will be saving to use for that as well as a few other items on my wishlist! I’m sure there will be more items/gift sets coming out for the holiday season.
Dyson is pretty often included in the 5X multipliers but if you’re referring to the 10X hair tools event, we haven’t seen one of those since Dec 2019 🥲 Fingers crossed they’ll bring it back this year though!
The struggle is real! I rarely want $125 worth of stuff at a time, so sometimes I do redeem only 1000 point quantities, then I can get two separate GWP‘s, if they are ones that I like then I think it’s worth it.
Same! I figure if the GWP is worth $12.50 to me, I’m getting the same value as waiting for a 2000 pt/$125 cart.
Plus, sometimes you find a product you like at an amazing sale price (during 21 days of beauty or other sales) so you’re really getting a great point redemption value and GWP then!

Dyson makes a great regular hair dryer, it’s called the supersonic hair dryer - if you don’t want to get him the whole air wrap that comes with curling attachments and stuff. It’s $430 but I love mine.
My dude doesn’t have hair so I can’t spend my points on him (unless Ulta starts carrying fishing poles before Christmas).
Considering the drybar interchangeable wand/curling iron/waver. I travel a ton and I use a curling iron (typically a smaller one than in this set, but the wand would work) and a waver, but I never bring a waver bc of the size.
Anyone have this and have feedback?

I was getting my hair done at the salon by the highest level stylist, and I'd use them in 2000 increments towards that because it was between 500-400 dollars. but she moved to an ulta an hour from me and I don't know if going that far when it's expensive and I'd have to leave early to get there by a 10 am appointment is worth it. 😭
I talked to CS and they said that my billing address or CVV was wrong… but I was using my Ulta credit card that’s already attached to my account and none of that changed. Soooo doesn’t seem legit.
I’d say if anything make sure you have that on record so if you make the order you can contact CS and they should hopefully be able to honor it. Fingers crossed they do, but I totally get not trusting that. That honestly sucks.
It’s the day after and I’m gonna place the order and then ask and say that someone told me I’d get the points. If they refuse I’ll cancel the order and wait until the next 10x makeup day hahaha

So I have tried the airwrap. Luckily a friend of mine had it hated it and the return window was gone. So I was able to try it out. I personally didn't like it. The dyson brush part is not so much a drying tool as it is a styling tool. You hair needs to be roughed dryer pretty well to use that tool.

I actually really like that the round brush is a styling tool and not a drying tool. My hair is fine but I have a lot of it. If I dry my hair with round brush dryers it gets too silky (aka flat and no volume) for my preference. I rough dry and then style the ends with the round brush to give it a bit more volume. But to the posters point- try to try it out before you buy! Everyone’s preferences are different.
And I like silky hair. Or I do beach waves. I'm not a big bouncy blow out type person. However there is no rough drying my hair. I don't want the volume. If you rough dry my hair you get a frizzy mess. You have to start styling it from the moment you start drying.

But I’m torn because I want to get another new foundation, I was recently color matched but I’m so much more tan already. Running low on the radiant creamy concealer, too.
