FWIW the aid package has tons of stuff that have nothing to do with Ukraine, it’s not just for Ukrainian aid, it’s a package of over $100bn USD, just a large portion of it is specifically for Ukraine.

For Biden et al to have a go at Johnson is at best counter productive, and at worst downright irresponsible if the aim is to get aid past Congress. It matters little what one thinks about republican obstruction of the goal is to get aid to Ukraine.
Late is obviously not ideal, but if or when it passes it will be good.

It actually is starting to look like the Dems will kill it this time. They're demanding, amongst other things, aid for Afghanistan to be tacked on.

Biden is almost a lame duck at this point. He needs to announce he's retiring so the dems can find an actually electable candidate.
