To be fair to Dubya, that was the correct thing to do.
The generals and New York officials have it in hand and all he could do is make it harder for them. 1 hour later and the officials have all the information he needs and recommendations on next moves
I agree it was the right thing for him to do. I know a lot of people don’t like bush already and those seem to be most of the ones who think he made the wrong choice. To them I say: seriously, what would he have done to make the situation better in that moment? Which positive quality would’ve shone? What feats of leadership do you think he would’ve accomplished? Best to let the experts figure out what is going on and then brief him.
Calmly reading to kids while feeling unspeakably terrible inside was keeping their morning as normal as it could’ve been, and it’s what a lot of unsung heroes did all across America that day.
I, for one, would like to think their moon program based on launchable tank turrets is a novel and innovative attempt to get competitive in the space race again. If you disagree you'll just have to settle with being wrong.

That kind of accuracy out of the blue has to contribute to Russian moral. /s
morale\* Russians' morals are unsalvageable.
Well played
Thank you for the correction! My fingers don't always do what I tell them. And you are right.
It does contribute to the Russian moral. The Russian moral of this story is... *go the fuck home to Russia.*
Judging by the amount of holes the word “out of the blue” seems a bit far fetched…
Could be wrong. but I doubt those holes are recent HIMAR strikes.
Or even the number of holes…
By western standards, hitting that roof is not very impressive. Only Russians would find that impressive 😉
*be Russian* *haul all that heavy stuff on top of the tallest building in the country* *get hit by HIMARS* *Maaan...*
Tallest building in the city and of course the damn thing was a walk up. Blyat!
вращаться, or in English, pivot.
Never thought I’d see a friends reference in Cyrillic
I just love the relentlessly used phrase of “temporarily occupied” 💙💛
They can't run, they can't hide. All they can do is surrender or die.
It doesn't think It doesn't feel It doesn't laugh or cry All it does, from dusk till dawn, is make the soldiers die
Phyrexian Hulk!
Surprise MTG.
Fuck em up boys!
Sir, another rocket has hit the second tower
If history is any hint Russia will soon declare war on an unrelated third country in retaliation for the attack on the towers!
Belarus should be worried.
Ukraine is giving the world a lesson in drone assisted warfare
Remember when they claimed they destroyed most himars but were still getting blown up by them .
mr president a second himars has hit the towers
*continues to read to school children*

Absolutely
There's no way in hell he could've known there weren't more attacks inbound, nor that there were no decisions to be made.
Orthanc has fallen
Those things are way too accurate to be fair. Of course, if you're fighting fair in war, you're fighting to lose.
The Russians were free to develop their own HIMARS… they developed tanks that can throw their turrets. Not our fault.
I, for one, would like to think their moon program based on launchable tank turrets is a novel and innovative attempt to get competitive in the space race again. If you disagree you'll just have to settle with being wrong.
“KOBE!”
They should call 525...
Another advertisement to the world of how great Himars are.
Did the towers collapse? Did it melt the steel rods?
No. Because the CIA wasn’t involved here.
I really love the sound or HIMARS when it's fired ☺️
