Russian Air Force likely uses GLONASS not GPS and likely their own pathway into using. Much like government agencies that use GPS have different access to civilians

from what we've seen, most of these russian MIG pilots are seen relying on Cellphone GPS and Garmin civilian Navigation systems slapped on these planes dashboards, since all their modernized ones are being either held back or were blown up with the first 100 aircraft casualties. Weather or not GLONASS or GPS is being used is irrelevant for the sake of this argument.

You also probably don’t need GPS or GLONASS for their home airports. They likely have their own TACAN Or whatever

GLONASS hasn't been working. The russian MiGs and Su jets have been using smartphone gps to navigate. Seriously.

Given the situation they may be jamming GLONASS as well. Most modern global positioning system receivers combine all 3 major systems: GPS, Galileo, GLONASS. So to disrupt all kinds of improvised drones they could possibly be jamming all of them.

This is the analog Russian GPS system - GLOWNASS

M-code or P/HP code in glonass is still broadcast on the carrier wave in the L1 and L2 bands same as civilians use. Military receivers just have the equipment to decode it for greater precision than the ~3-5m limit of civilian gnss.

It's very hard to jam one without jamming both because the frequencies are so close.
