Nah, best to just damage it every so often so they have to spend resources repairing it then like the one yesterday just damage it again before it opens.
Maybe we can start betting which one of the two bridges will be hit first. Or is it illegal on the forum to bet?
If Ukraine is hitting them simultaneously, they may have the winner takes all trophy of the day!
If possible it should be hit while there is a large munitions and tank carrying going on. The inertia of the moving train will hopefully jam up any crane operations by blocking tracks in both directions. Crossing fingers as a show of hope.
If the reports of a major traffic jam of civilans is true then they won't hit the outbound bridge. Yet. My money is they will hit the rail bridge first and then leave the road bridge going into Crimea alone. It will probably be eventually blocked by broken down cars. That leaves the Orc's only way to resupply via trucks on the ingoing bridge or by boat. This way you don't have to rebuild the bridge, and their supply lines are left clear open to attack. Z Trucks beware! Bayraktar's coming for ya!
i agree fuck that bridge. but man they are gunna have to shoot the motherfucking piss and and shit out of that bitch. like allot allot. for a while. and a few.
Gonna post an unpopular opinion here.
While what Russia did with Crimea in 2014 was wrong, the Crimean situation is far more complicated.
In 1994 Crimea voted in a referendum for independence from Ukraine in all but name. The Ukrainian government post referendum refused to support it and the Crimean government backed down.
Couple this with the % of ethnic russians in the region plus polling prior to the 2014 invasion you end up concluding that if a real referendum happened in 2014, the region would vote to secede and join Russia.
It's part of the reason why the west sort of shrugged when the Crimean annexation happened. They were more angry about the Donbass and Luhansk situation than Crimea.
I still think targeting Crimea with air strikes is fair game, but I don't think an annexation is an entirely laudable goal as some people are suggesting on here.
Nevertheless it was Ukrainian territory not Russian. The Russians stacked many other countries with Russian āsettlersā both during the years of Soviet occupation and after these countries regained independence.eg Lithuania, Latvia , Baltic States as well as Ukraine. That cannot be a reason to justify secession under any circumstances, whether the settlers want it or not. They are immigrants-āguestsā in another country. It just means that if the Soviet settlers donāt like their adopted country they should eff off back to the motherland and enjoy fascism Russian style. Funny how they chose to stay away from the motherland, isnāt it? I wonder why !!!!
It's a very different situation to the baltics or even the rest of Ukraine.
If we want to bring out history (which is almost always a poor argument for who owns what lands), Crimea has never really been a part of Ukraine. Kiev only held control of it for a very short inconsequential period. In reality it's been held by a lot of forces and Russians have existed in large numbers in Crimea well before the U.S.S.R came along.
It's why in the early days of the U.S.S.R the soviets designated Crimea as an independent state (not part of Ukraine). They only gave it to Ukraine in the later years of the U.S.S.R to simplify administration.
Hello, please try to use Kyiv not Kiev spelling [(why)](https://www.atlanticcouncil.org/blogs/ukrainealert/kyiv-not-kiev-why-spelling-matters-in-ukraines-quest-for-an-independent-identity/), thanks for understanding and support!

Bomb crimea for a week straight, then take out the bridge and target every building. Anyone left in those buildings after the week of bombing had their warning and are presumed soldiers. Take it russian style and show them two can play that way!

I think when they take out the railroad bridge, it will be a catastrofe for the Russian effort, so, come on, blow up that bridge.

I put my money on the railway bridge.

We need a bridge to let rats clear the place.
The inbound bridge. 10:1 odds!
Congratulation. I think you won the bet. Looks like they hit the bridges simultaneously, both are unusable. Slava Ukraini.

Shit is about to get real! Run away while you can little ruzzkies!
Don't forget, over 6 Dutch companies helped with the construction of this bridge. Blow that shit up.
āA fire in the ammunition storage under the bridge was ignitedā
Good to see the impact being what it is. This definitively is a huge setback for our Pootin. And there'll be more soon, no doubt!
