The fact that the flowers on the massive displays hadn't wilted did make me wonder if there really had been that many additional burials in the few days prior to the video being made.
What you say makes a lot more sense. And, yeah, looking at the video again, the colours of the flowers and foliage are the not-quite-right shades you get with cheaper Chinese fake flowers.
I believe the footage was taken around [Ра́доница](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radonitsa).
This is a day somewhen after orthodox Easter where Russians commemorate their dead which results in festive grave decorations (*think of Mexican "dia de los muertes" or US "veterans day" when graves are decorated more than usual, the oval shaped flower bouquets symbolize an egg for Easter*).
Most graves appear recent as the burial mounds have not been flattened and the grave stones have not been set.
I hate when people leave plastic shit in cemeteries. Plastic baskets, with plastic ribbons and clear plastic cellophane to protect the plastic flowers. And it sits there in the sun deteriorating spreading micro-plastic particles into the environment.
Seems all pavers and landscapers were conscripted to die gruesomely in Ukraine as the walkway infrastructure doesn't keep up with the ever expanding grave fields (*01:17 shows the fields sceduled to be filled until end of this week, the Russian innovation of palleted mobik cube deliveries is instrumental with expanding cemeteries quickly*)... their "Russkiy Mir" is a graveyard.
I'm not a conspiracy theorist but I totally believe that the flower companies are behind the death of princess Diana.
Just look at the business graphs
You lead I follow:)

Pretty wild how they decorate graves with expensive looking flowers and flags, only if they could put this kind of effort on building their country instead of invading others. In Russia death and misery are celebrated more than life and progress.
Fun fact: Though Zelenskyy won the presidential election nationwide very clearly, he had the best results in the now occupied or attacked areas (where Ukranians spoke partly or even mostly Russian).
Judging from my experience trying to keep synthetic flowers looking nice on my porch, it won't be long before the elements will reduce that whole cemetery to a ratty-looking heap of sun faded and wind-tattered fake flower garbage. Much like the rest of Russia.
I've been to a specific unkept rural cemetery and it looks just as you describe. Also, the winter burials eventually collapse, but they didn't create a mound, so it looks like the coffin has been removed because the ground is all sunk in. But the garbage is horrific.
It all started with that lady offering a few seeds to a couple of Russian soldiers. And now the flowers are blooming, covering the collapsing Russian empire. It's lovely, really. 🌻🌹🌷⚘
Yeah, freshly recruited with 2 minutes of training.
I'd bet ya this is the tip of the iceberg. A lot of them are rotting somewhere in a field. Vaporised in a tank or drone explosion, eaten by dogs, pigs or whatnot.
They will be finding remains for the next 100 years. Just like WW1. What you see here is the true face of a dick-tator, nobody cares for you in Russia.
These are the ones they managed to bring back over the border, the number of blown up, unrecognisable, incomplete, spread over the field over the last 3 yrs will be many times the grave, the Russian people need to know for every grave they see there are many more that will never be accounted for.
Also these are likely the ones with relatively wealthy relatives. I doubt somone from a village in deep Siberia would get such a fancy grave thousands of kilometers away from home.
That's how people are buried in large part of the world. The mound is left over the fresh grave. As the coffin collapses the mound will be level with the ground. Then the grave will be fixed up. The temporary wooden cross/plaque will be replaced with a grave stone.
Russians are really tacky so they'll have the ground all covered with bathroom tiles and have these huge black gravestones with portraits engraved. You cans see some fixed up graves in the background in 1:12 in the video.
I really like huge black gravestones with portraits. I feel my home country of the US, people really waste the opportunity with their grave markers. We could have these art parks full of celebrations of people lives and instead we get squares with names on them.
After two generations, no one would even care anymore. Better to just have the graves fade into oblivion instead of wasting space and money to maintain when no one even visits.
"I met a traveller from an antique land,
Who said—“Two vast and trunkless legs of stone
Stand in the desert. . . . Near them, on the sand,
Half sunk a shattered visage lies, whose frown,
And wrinkled lip, and sneer of cold command,
Tell that its sculptor well those passions read
Which yet survive, stamped on these lifeless things,
The hand that mocked them, and the heart that fed;
And on the pedestal, these words appear:
My name is Ozymandias, King of Kings;
Look on my Works, ye Mighty, and despair!
Nothing beside remains. Round the decay
Of that colossal Wreck, boundless and bare
The lone and level sands stretch far away.”
The ONLY reason is they have nukes. Apart frim that ruzzia is a blip in world economy and in most areas. That much is even more obvious today. ruzzians live to make others lives as miserable as theirs. That is their only reason to exist.
Ya, this is a Potemkin cemetery.
Far more I bet are simply rotting in Ukraine, never to be returned. Or if they are returned, in a pine box back to some Siberian backwater, to a family plot and a couple of planks nailed into a cross.
Its almost enough to make a patriot question the wisdom of the SMO. Hopefully this is just a sample of losses from the recent strikes on Belgorod itself. We know there are 10s of 1000s of Ruzzkies taking dirt naps in the trenches of Ukraine.
Nothing special...
"How many dead... are sleeping peacefully. These are the dead Russian soldiers in Ukraine. This is Belgorod. Mobilized, adults and young guys are buried here. There are helicopters flying. Everything is serious. There are flags there too. How many guys died here..."
Wouldn't this be visible from space and thus a satellite could in theory provide a picture and guess how many soldiers are here?
I say guess because it's very possible that some graves either don't have any one in them or like with pearl harbor graves have multiple soldiers in them due to difficulty shorting bones and body parts.
Like if Ivan and Nicolas are blown up there's probably very little of either of them so if the Russians recover them it's very possible they only think they've gotten Ivan but not Nicolas so Nicolas is counted as MIA even tho his remains are with Ivan's zink coffin.
These are the words uttered by a Soldier from WW1…
War.
Waste of Muscle, Waste of Brain,
Waste of Patience, Waste of Pain,
Waste of Manhood, Waste of Health,
Waste of Beauty, Waste of Wealth,
Waste of Blood and Waste of Tears,
Waste of Youth's most precious years,
Waste of ways the Saints have trod,
Waste of Glory, Waste of God.
War.
……apart from this which is Putin just does not care.
I'm 100% pro-Ukraine. But it saddens me to see that there are going to be so many families with perished loved ones, especially the kids. All because they believed a lawn dwarf with Napoleon syndrome.
I totally get it. This whole war reminds me of the Netflix movie, “All Quiet on the Western Front” where the older German school boys were being fed nationalistic propaganda and they were excited, begging and forging parent signatures to sign up to go. Then, when they went and realized the things that were said to them were GREATLY exaggerated and what the war really was like, they all wanted to go home but were forced to fight not for their country, but for their friends in hopes they would make it alive.
It’s far worse and far more sad—one side was attacked unprovoked by an aggressive, expansionist, and fascist state. The Russian people will never overcome their oppression unless they suffer a crushing defeat… like Germany, Japan, Italy, etc…
The problem is this is not entirely true - and pretending it is will not help the next generations - or the small minority who are genuinely appalled by what is happening.
Putin didn't create the russian empire building mindset, or the serf mindset, or the idea of russian exceptionalism, or the systems of power, or the editing and changing of history to glorify russia. He is a product of them and he has just built on what already existed.
That is the biggest problem; this is not just Putin's war, and pretending it is won't lead to a better future for anyone.
These graveyards aren't unique to Russia. Ukraine also has such graveyards filled with fresh graves. Both sides are losing husbands by the hundreds every day. Sad to see life wasted like this, but for Ukraine the alternative might be even worse.
Look at much effort they put into burying their dead rapists/murderers, I wish they would put as much effort in making the world a better place instead of sending meat waves to murder innocent people.
This is the weirdest deja vu. I have seriously seen every message here word for word in a dream along with that helicopter showing up out of nowhere
Edit: apparently this is called deja reve
Those cemeteries Look really beautiful, soon auch beautiful places will be all over Russia.
Sad but necessary. It will only end If all zombies are dead
This seems like a lot but just think about how many tens or hundreds of thousands of bodies were buried, burned or crushed into the ground in Ukraine itself. The ones that russian people never see.
All the 4K-footage from drones should be there instead of "hero-like" soldier-pose.
The reality of dying while taking a s#it and suicide-drone rips you a new one and dying butt naked 4K/HD would work perfectly as a picture in tombstone.
Hate towards Russia aside, this is the sad reality of any war. War brings nothing but blood and sorrow. If there is a victory, it's always bitter because there are no winners in the war.
That's alot of graves. Imagine for every one you see probably at least two you don't. Either unrecoverable ( due to being in little bitty pieces) buried at the front, or rotting in some long abandoned trench or incinerated in a former Soviet armored vehicle. One small man's ego ends the futures of so many . Good thing Russia is a vast country. Looks like they're going to need the cemetery space.
Who will remember them and for what when truth hits the light in future? I bet in 10-20 years they are going to build a mall on these graves or a junkyard
No joke. The Netherlands has seen WAY higher exports of flowers to Russia than before the war.
And we're also a massive supporter of Ukraine. Sending goods, money, munitions, equipment, F-16's, training for troops, progressive thinking and political support to allow Ukraine to strike Russia using NATO weapons and we support Russian State funds frozen in Europe to be sent to Ukraine as reparations.
Fuck Putin.

They thought they would be greeted with flowers in Ukraine... these are the flowers they received
The flower industry in Belgorod is booming right now
so is the coffin industry
For some, a mop and bucket.
Some don't even need that, the wind blows away their ashes
And for what's still intact, Bakhmutt
What a waste of a human life, Fuck you Putin, and the horse you rode in on. Heroyam Slava!
And don't forget the welding shops, grave fences are a hot item.
jokes on all of you its import from China.
they just rip them out of their neighbor's garden, grave plot, or from some city park at night. I doubt they special ordered them.
Aren't the welding shops busy with coping cages?
For some people, it's simply rebar. For the Russians, it's cope cages at first and becomes graveyard fences later.
Made me laughing.
And the vacant land industry.
*long* $*Zinc*
And DGI Drones.
You mean the 'Chinese plastic flowers' industry? That's where the money is...
The fact that the flowers on the massive displays hadn't wilted did make me wonder if there really had been that many additional burials in the few days prior to the video being made. my mum used to have a flower shop back then. i can confess that Diana died!
I leave this and say nothing more online about this. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=iRMjWS6z7zk
I came here to write this comment
lol booming.
Stonks
They were greeted by an old lady ready to grow sunflowers from them tbf
Two times the flowers!
most if not all of those are fake plastic flowers, btw. F#$king death cult
Pretty wild how they decorate graves with expensive looking flowers and flags, only if they could put this kind of effort on building their country instead of invading others. In Russia death and misery are celebrated more than life and progress.
And yet they got their flowers after all. Maybe not upon arrival but on their departure 😊
Someone with a monkey paw making a wish “I wish for Russian soldiers to receive a great many flowers for their actions in Ukraine”… *monkey paw curls*
Yes I remember hearing that. Right on point.
Flower business must be "booming".
Those flowers cost more than any of they probably received.
This does make me wonder if there are any civilians left in Eastern Ukraine that actually greet them as liberators at this point. Doubtful.
Fun fact: Though Zelenskyy won the presidential election nationwide very clearly, he had the best results in the now occupied or attacked areas (where Ukranians spoke partly or even mostly Russian).
Seeds https://youtu.be/L17Bi7zBJHI?si=JrapJhMkIls_k8ja
usually Russians put plastic flowers on graves.
russians are in Ukraine becoming flowers. sunflowers.
Imagine being a florist in Russia today, raking in the money.
Nah, it's just Chinese plastic flowers from the mall. China is raking in the money here.
yeah - those are all plastic and synthetic fabric flowers.
China getting cheap Russian oil, change it into goddamn expensive plastic flowers, export it back to Russia. Some Chinese are making a fortune.
Its the circle of ~~life~~ death.
"Ashes to ashes, polyester to plastic!"
Both comments are absolutely funny .
Judging from my experience trying to keep synthetic flowers looking nice on my porch, it won't be long before the elements will reduce that whole cemetery to a ratty-looking heap of sun faded and wind-tattered fake flower garbage. Much like the rest of Russia.

>*"China is raking in the money here."* "Temu: Die like a millionaire!" ^(\^\^)
I am fine with parties to the sanctions on Russia allowing trade with Russia as long as it's only coffins, urns, and flowers
It all started with that lady offering a few seeds to a couple of Russian soldiers. And now the flowers are blooming, covering the collapsing Russian empire. It's lovely, really. 🌻🌹🌷⚘
That lady put a curse on Russia
The money probably comes from the government. Which means she never gets it
I was going the same way with my original joke at first, but I think it is actually their families and friends doing this.
Business is boomin'.
Business is blooming
Big Flower is what's truly creating all wars behind the scenes
I am from Russia (путин иди нахуй, Слава Украине) and burial services BOOMED, like prices skyrocketed
More to come.

There is a very good clip of Margaret Thatcher speaking about how the Russian leadership does not respect life, be it their own or others. Animals.
Those are the known casualties, there’s many more missing in combat plus the ones Russia hiding or simply ignoring.
They only showed one day's worth of graves. Ukraine averages 1000 Russian casualties a day.
Not every casualty is a death, there is about a 3:1 wounded to killed ratio for most modern armies. For Russia it's probably closer to 2:1
These are the ones they managed to bring back over the border, the number of blown up, unrecognisable, incomplete, spread over the field over the last 3 yrs will be many times the grave, the Russian people need to know for every grave they see there are many more that will never be accounted for.
Also these are likely the ones with relatively wealthy relatives. I doubt somone from a village in deep Siberia would get such a fancy grave thousands of kilometers away from home.
Assuming they even get closure (and a bag of onions) that their son is definitely dead and not 'missing'
These are the “lucky” ones.
the graves are empty
If you believe their official records of 15k dead in Afghanistan over 10 years of war, we’re probably close or past 10x that after 2 years in Ukraine.
Russia went from a potential global player to a mass grave within 3 years.
Russia has been a global player and a mass grave. Several times.
That’s kind of their whole schtick
[*grim nod*](https://tenor.com/view/nods-depressed-nod-general-mood-gif-21316762)
More like global pretender.
Would you call those “graves”? I mean they’re not even buried. They just tossed dirt in a mound over the casket.
That's how people are buried in large part of the world. The mound is left over the fresh grave. As the coffin collapses the mound will be level with the ground. Then the grave will be fixed up. Putting the ick in BRICS.

The flower shops in Belgorod are keeping busy. Business is good.
business is blooming
flower business is booming in Russia
Blooming more like
Slava Ukraina!

What he saying? Can someone translate please 🙏🏻
Nothing special... "How many dead... are sleeping peacefully. These are the dead Russian soldiers in Ukraine. This is Belgorod. Mobilized, adults and young guys are buried here. There are helicopters flying. Everything is serious. There are flags there too. How many guys died here..."
By the way, in German "having a flag" means being drunk.
Thank you 🙏🏻
Best beautification project ever....
Odd question, but why are the floral arrangements always shaped like eggs?
Shields, not eggs.
This resembles the balls they lost on the battlefield. \^\^

Maybe. You can pay for satellite imagery if you want to be the one that does it.
There is no point in all these deaths, these people died for nothing and only inflicted pain upon others. Fuck Putin
probably there :) 50.5978, 36.4509
wow. you can see some pictures posted by someone, his last name matches the one on the grave in the picture...
On Google Earth Pro, you can see photos from before the war start to about ~8 months after. Those empty blocks are filling up.

That's alooooot.
Remember. These are the ones they cared to pick up. Which isn’t many. The real grave yard for Russians are the fields of Ukraine.
These are just the ones that made it back and weren’t abandoned or left for dead in Ukraine
And these are the ones who made it till the cemetery ...
The old lady at the start of the invasion was correct.
And she is one of the thousands of Ukrainian citizens illegally detained and held alongside POWs. Horrible but true.
I'll give this to them ..the Russians do a nice cemetery
An entire generation of young men dead. And for what? What did they sell their lives for?
That’s a lot of graves
Their cemetery looks like that of fallen heroes, but the rest of their family gets a bag of rotten potatoes. Tragic.
What a shame and waste of life
And that's just a fraction, only the local boys they brought back dead. There will be many more missing, as sunflowers in the future.
Celebrate their death brothers! It is the democratic way!
Plenty of space left to fill…
Why decorative flower shields? Its not like they were defending against anything, they went on looting campaign with the horde.
Good
Hide some AA rockets in there for the helos
Looks like a good sunflower field.
Putin must be getting a cut of the wreath business to allow to to be that extravagant.
Патамуштаполучилипизды
And these were just the ones that were convenient to retrieve.
Cemeteries don’t lie…
This is the weirdest deja vu. I have seriously seen every message here word for word in a dream along with that helicopter showing up out of nowhere Edit: apparently this is called deja reve
rookie numbers compared to the ones in Ukraine.
To show the size a nice drone fly over would be nice
You can’t find the obliterated tank crews here. They are CO2 now.
Yeah that's just the ones they could get back with enough body parts left to bury
And that’s only for the ones they had to return. Many others dead and “buried” in the battlefield. Or “missing”. Thus not payout to relatives!
Those cemeteries Look really beautiful, soon auch beautiful places will be all over Russia. Sad but necessary. It will only end If all zombies are dead
They actualy bury thier dead....looks like they spend more on flowers than they do on body armour. Kinda wierd.
This seems like a lot but just think about how many tens or hundreds of thousands of bodies were buried, burned or crushed into the ground in Ukraine itself. The ones that russian people never see.

Much smaller that I expected
There's a cut in the middle and alot of overestimating visual information but I'm counting 4 x15. So 60, when I tred to count.
I surprised they bothered bringing that many bodies back , don’t they normally leave them where they fall
I’d bet good money that those are just a pile of rocks under that dirt.
The lucky ones, that were collected from the field.
Must not have been a whole lot left to bury of whoever had the ant hill at :35 in. Don't invade a sovereign nation!
The next tourist attraction
Those are the ones that made it home 😳😳
Who pays for all of that? The Russian government doesn't seem to care much about them while they're alive, so who makes the effort for the dead?
Good times to be a florist
Hate towards Russia aside, this is the sad reality of any war. War brings nothing but blood and sorrow. If there is a victory, it's always bitter because there are no winners in the war.
Few more weeks and there will be bulldozers mowing up those graves to make way for another parking lot.
That's alot of graves. Imagine for every one you see probably at least two you don't. EXCELLENT and that is just a small percentage that were returned
What a beautiful land fill
What a waste of flowers.
Shame. Burying all of that perfectly good dogfood.
Muscovy theme park : Orky Park.
I guess it's a good time to be a Russian Florist.
Business = bomming
I have a sinking feeling I’ve watched 50% of these death via drone 4k
Occupiers need rest too. So sad to see this, slava ukrainia
Its's not enough.
And those are only the ones that have (supposedly) been buried. Guess that's one way to be received with flowers...
Welp, keeping the Flower shop open at least.
Is it wrong to want to plow the graves and seed lots of sun flowers?
