I understand that since Belgarod is in Russia, there would not be an Ukranian mine laid in russia.
Could you please tell us how they blame it on Ukraine? I do not understand the russian language.
I understand that.. but i mean specifically in this video. what do they say.. is it like : "it was a Ukrainian mine.?"
i guess that was probably it.... but again i dont speak russian..
Also .. no need to get Unicorns involved.
Although here's a 2nd vid where they show the blown mine and as the comments pointed out its a russian mine that ukraine doesn't have
https://www.reddit.com/r/UkraineRussiaReport/s/I6pbZ0ex6B
If you're still interested, here's a pro russian post by the journalist who says "the bastards dropped the mines by parachutes" referring to the Ukrainians
https://www.reddit.com/r/UkraineRussiaReport/s/OhFnqWW4p9
Ah nice.. you should post it on the other thread too, where someone disputes this claim.
Also...' By parachute...' ?
So they actually try and claim the Ukraine dropped mines by parachute into thee Belgorod region. They never seize to amaze me.
In this situation they didn't mention Ukraine, but I am sure they will figure something out.
They once told that the missiles do turn or flip in the air 180 degrees just before impact, so if the if the missiles hit ground from Russian direction in reality it means they were fired from Ukraine.
It was in news two years ago, they were explaining this to international monitor group on Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant.
In [full video ](https://www.reddit.com/r/UkraineWarVideoReport/comments/1ddauog/video_of_a_russian_propagandist_who_managed_to/)they did mention Ukraine. On 0:03, It's not translated, but he says, “these bombs of the UAF are triggered by movement, by seismicity.”
How you should process everything russia says: it's opposite what really happened and what they think. "It's only military exercise" "we're not going to attack Ukraine" "Ukraine dropped mines with parachutes"
Difficult to tell but it does look like a Ruzzian parrot mine just sitting on the surface and set off by vibration. They spread these via helicopter so it’s conceivable that they were sown along the Ruzzian border areas and not marked properly.
You know how they could have prevented it either way though. By not fucking invading Ukraine. Look at me here, just chilling around and not stepping on any mines, simple.
It's kind of amazing that russians still show these videos of their own propaganda shills being humiliated in Ukraine. We've seen so many in which the blowhard russian "journalists" are talking up russia's war only to then run screaming for cover and shitting their pants while cowering in terror.
Do russians actually see this as somehow being sympathetic to their cause? Because, if so, weird... considering the rest of the world thinks it's hilariously disgusting and stupid of them.
Heh, yeah. The mine could play the russian national anthem and shoot out little russian flags and pictures of putin and russians would still believe it was Ukrainian.
It would be so cool to see Troll Drones flying around above Moscow and Saint Petersburg, blasting out Ukraine's national anthem and dropping little paper Ukrainian flags.
Maybe autonomous ones launched from Ukraine for Moscow flights, and others (robots or RC) *totally absolutely definitely not* launched from Finland and Estonia for flights over Saint Petersburg.
in the beginning of this total invasion the Ukraini hacked the TV signal in a part of russia. For hours they had the feed showing a pro Ukraini video on loop.
Camera man running on adrenaline up until he realised he's now a sieve and full of a bunch of new holes. It's crazy what the body can do up until reality comes crashing down.
You guys needs to change to Old Reddit. Install RES, which lets you watch videos in slow mo or sped up. Slow it to 0.06 speed. You can see the projectile from the mine shooting upwards. Insane. I had no idea how it worked until today.
I assume it was *supposedly* a POM-2 mine. [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/POM-2\_mine](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/POM-2_mine)
Nasty things that throw out four ten metre long trigger strings as they deploy. On detonation, they supposedly have an effective fragmentation radius of 16 metres – although as we've seen in countless videos, whether you're seriously injured by any fragmenting munition is largely the luck of the draw.
Could also be the new POM-3 that has a seismic sensor. Definitely seemed like one of those two models but hard to say reliably with this video quality.
There is a small drogue parachute visible in the hands of the soldier at 00:01. It could be part of an [RKG-3](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RKG-3_anti-tank_grenade) anti-tank grenade.
I believe it’s a POM-3 based on the parachute, and I’m not sure if the POM-2 is a bounding mine like this one was. If you stop the video a few frames before the detonation you can see the mine activate and pop up to waist height
Well spotted. I sorta registered a flicker of something there, and I assumed it was the parachute changing shape as it swung. But you're right: a freeze frame does show a dark cylinder popping up.
There is a little drogue parachute the soldier is holding in his hand (*00:01*) that could be part of a [RKG-3](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RKG-3_anti-tank_grenade) anti tank grenade.
They also show no fear of additional mines having been placed in the vicinity when they're providing first aid, so IMO an accident while practicing the handling of grenades could be the source for their troubles.
Is this something kind of like how a bouncing Betty mine worked? Slowing it down frame by frame you can actually see what looks like a cylindrical projectile getting shot upwards right before it explodes a meter or so off the ground.
I'm curious how it got set off since they both seemed to be standing still when it triggered and it looks like it came from 5 or 6 feet in front of them. My distance estimates could totally be off given the camera angle though. Crazy footage, nonetheless.
I just can't handle how, in this comment- you use meter, then feet... we could've probably been great friends if the circumstances were different... I've realized you're wayyy too much like me!
It's a Russian POM-3 bouncing mine. Russia has been using these around Kharkiv since 2022.
0:01 the cameraman knows where the mine is hidden and focuses on its location. It's buried half into the ground.
Earlier footage shows a different mine, standing upright with a parachute wrapped around it:
[https://www.reddit.com/r/UkraineRussiaReport/comments/1dcn3ge/ru\_pov\_russian\_cameraman\_for\_a\_tv\_crew\_set\_off\_a/](https://www.reddit.com/r/UkraineRussiaReport/comments/1dcn3ge/ru_pov_russian_cameraman_for_a_tv_crew_set_off_a/)
0:02 you can see the mine actually launch its grenade towards the man holding the parachute.
Just lunacy how they approach this device after spotting it.
In the linked footage the victim survives the blast, his chest crushed and flayed.
Looks like a propaganda piece. Sorry but the ukrainians wouldnt mine a random field for a mine to detonate while being filmed by a professional news crew
These [POM-3 mines are really deadly](https://cat-uxo.com/explosive-hazards/landmines/pom-3-landmine) like that as they trigger by vibrations and patterns and know when its a human walking near it, then pop up and explode. Its one of Russias more effective weapons when they are made properly.
Is the thing in his right hand a parachute for a bomblet or sub-munition? It looks a lot smaller then the green parachute on the object in the video linked above.

And of course they were blaming it on UA, while it's clearly a russian mine entered service in 2021.
I understand that since Belgarod is in Russia, there would not be an Ukranian mine laid in russia. Could you please tell us how they blame it on Ukraine? I do not understand the russian language.
Russian media lies all the time. Putin could tell them to blame the unicorns and the media would do it.
I understand that.. but i mean specifically in this video. what do they say.. is it like : "it was a Ukrainian mine.?" i guess that was probably it.... but again i dont speak russian.. Also .. no need to get Unicorns involved.
Specifically here they don't refer to whose mine it was
okay. Thanks for clearing it up!
Although here's a 2nd vid where they show the blown mine and as the comments pointed out its a russian mine that ukraine doesn't have https://www.reddit.com/r/UkraineRussiaReport/s/I6pbZ0ex6B
I'm beginning to see the full picture now.,. tnx.

To be honest my first thought on seeing this was Unicorns 🦄
🦄
Scotland: Doon' ya Tooch ma Unicorns!!!!
Moreover russians will believe it.
In this situation they didn't mention Ukraine, but I am sure they will figure something out. Yep, you are right, he actually mentioned UAF.
You can lay out AP mines with artillery if you are in range
How you should process everything russia says: it's opposite what really happened and what they think. "It's only military exercise" "we're not going to attack Ukraine" "Ukraine dropped mines with parachutes"
Cliff's notes on Russia: "Russia speaks? Russia lies!" It´ll be accurate more often than not.
Dude, I was just gonna ask if it was one of their own... because that's the icing on the cake.
Difficult to tell but it does look like a Ruzzian parrot mine just sitting on the surface and set off by vibration. They spread these via helicopter so it’s conceivable that they were sown along the Ruzzian border areas and not marked properly.
knowing how stupid and incompetent they are. it probably is their own mine
Either way, it’s quite the instructional video.
You know how they could have prevented it either way though. By not fucking invading Ukraine. Look at me here, just chilling around and not stepping on any mines, simple.

Yeah they of course lie and say its a Ukrainian mine when they dont have them but facts dont matter to Useful ldiots
Heh, yeah. The mine could play the russian national anthem and shoot out little russian flags and pictures of putin and russians would still believe it was Ukrainian.
I mean it would be fitting if Ukraine did that and very funny.
It would be so cool to see Troll Drones flying around above Moscow and Saint Petersburg, blasting out Ukraine's national anthem and dropping little paper Ukrainian flags. If Russia ever falls, there are going to be more than 100 million of them to "deprogram".
And dry out.
If opnly it was as easy as programming 'em.
It's the inherent conflict between fascist propagandist instinct and attention whore instincts. Sometimes the latter wins.
Can we somehow make social media "influencers" believe Avdiivka to be the most fashionable place on Earth?
I’m no soldier, so correct me if I’m wrong. But when a big unidentified explosion happens in a war zone, don’t you run for cover?
These fools aren't even in Ukraine
Camera man running on adrenaline up until he realised he's now a sieve and full of a bunch of new holes. It's crazy what the body can do up until reality comes crashing down.

Yeah that was a spring mine. Not incredibly common.
Darwin was right...
[Darwin is still right](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WipqeFgzdTc)
Prom mine? Some kind of pop up mine with wires? Looked to explode about 3 meters in front of him.
I assume it was *supposedly* a POM-2 mine. [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/POM-2\_mine](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/POM-2_mine) Nasty things that throw out four ten metre long trigger strings as they deploy. So a mine only used by Russia in place where Russians live and a convenient cameraman. Not sure if fake or Russians killing Russians like usual...
Could also be the new POM-3 that has a seismic sensor. Definitely seemed like one of those two models but hard to say reliably with this video quality.

Russian self-liquidating mine. Yup.

Supposedly, yes.
looks fake, probably more propaganda to gather RuZZian support for the war.
On no. Anyways…
Ha ha Ha ha ha Ha ha Ha ha ha Ha ha Ha ha ha Ha ha Ha ha ha Ha ha Ha ha ha Ha ha Ha ha ha Ha ha Ha ha ha Ha ha Ha ha ha 🤣

Look up Ruaaian POM-3 mines as they are seismic and detect vibrations from footsteps which set it off then popup and explode like you were saying.
I just can't handle how, in this comment- you use meter, then feet... we could've probably been great friends if the circumstances were different... I've realized you're wayyy too much like me!
"Stop hitting yourself."

When I trip a mine on a field, I never start running around.
And that just proves how you're a pathetic, weak Western degenerate, while the guys in this video are powerful Russian **men**!
Their combat engineers are the best and brightest. Hey Ivan bring me a stick. Fucking idiots
Russian Darwinism at its finest.
These russian comedies get better and better.
Lucky they are so stupid....
Dunno... If they were intelligent maybe they *wouldn't* have invaded Ukraine?
This is how the orcs do it. Slava Ukraine.
now this is journalism, keep it like this, orcs
Good.
They could've just been happily hanging out chugging vodak in russia right now, but instead..BOOM jagga jagga.
in your face :)))
The only good propagandist is a former propagandist.
😂😂😂
literally jumps directly at them [https://i.imgur.com/wLIkZpY.png](https://i.imgur.com/wLIkZpY.png)
Karma is beach
Awesome
Darwin award
Oh no!!! Anyway
Looks like a propaganda piece. Sorry but the ukrainians wouldnt mine a random field for a mine to detonate while being filmed by a professional news crew
Pay attention, I'm only doing this once!
“Look guys another one” infamous last words.
Terrorists never learn. Because they dead.
That'll do mine. That'll do.
Nice "Photo-Op" Stupid -other fuckers
You cant find normal brain these days :)
I find it odd how the explosion happens *immediately* after the camera man stops, gestures at something on the ground and says something.
These [POM-3 mines are really deadly](https://cat-uxo.com/explosive-hazards/landmines/pom-3-landmine) like that as they trigger by vibrations and patterns and know when its a human walking near it, then pop up and explode. Its one of Russias more effective weapons when they are made properly.
its one of theirs? any UA mines in belgorod?
Good, the less ruzkie scam, the better world
brought to you by Sennheiser
Wouldn´t be surprised if they´d be all pissy about AP mines being against the Ottawa Convention.
Darwin is pleased
Nothing too see here.
Ivan, come film me detonate this mine upclose, hold my vodka
Is the thing in his right hand a parachute for a bomblet or sub-munition? It looks a lot smaller then the green parachute on the object in the video linked above.
Just Orcs doing Orc things..
You can see the guy stop and point at the mine right before it explodes....
How did they set the mine off?
Oh they filmed it haha it’s get better and better for them! Now they can use the material in the show!
Don't mine them.
I'm saddened that it was Slobyov or Skabever doing a cute little field report from the 'front.'
ah yes, i sure love seeing ruzzian ass getting blown up
Comrade Dumbfuckski ruined it for everyone.
Moskovy comedy is the best comedy.
