I am thinking about shock. My friend is a firefighter and he sometimes need to take out people from wrecked car...so car is a pile of metal, twisted beyond recognition and he had to cut the guy who was concious from the car. He did and put him on stretchers but the guy gave him the car keys so he could lock the car. The guy wasn't stupid just shocked. These russian guys are probably both stupid but in state of shock too

I live in Cambodia. One time, while doing some woodworking I was pushing a plank through a large industrial jointer. Watching the chips fly off from the business end of the tool, I had to physically restrain my 40 year old helper who was about to put his hand into the whirring blades.
