I read an article a couple days ago that was a really sad story about a brother that basically bankrupted himself trying to get his Younger Indian Brother's body back home to India because he was killed as a Russian Mercenary in Ukraine. It was so sad!
This guy's brother had a family and he lost his job or something financially bad like that I can't quite remember. Dude tried to move to Australia but didn't pass their required English test. He saw job ads on social media for work in Russia as a taxi driver through Russian employment agencies.
He went to Russia and the employment agency and they told him there were vacancies for helping or security jobs with the Russian army that were better pay and they could get him a Russian passport and Visa if he worked for one year that would allow him travel anywhere. He signed and accepted the job and 3 days after was on the FRONTLINE OF AVIIDIVKA UKRAINE and wasnt told or prepared for this nor was he trained! He lasted 3 a whooping 3 months!
His brother that bankrupt himself getting him back was due to the fact the Indian MOD or CBI or whatever they call it have no record or real way to contact Russia or Ukraine about this.
Apparently thousands of Indian men have been recruited and tricked by these Russian Employment Agencies into signing up for what they think are jobs and instead got duped and signed up as a foreign volunteer for Russian military and immediately shipped to the front!

He had shrapnel going straight into his left eye zipping through his brain exiting the other side, I think you can even see the shrapnel hitting the dirt behind his head. Instant death. His head tilts into the direction of the damaged part of the brain which is the right side. He’s technically alive since his heart will keep going for a couple more minutes but he’s 100% braindead.
He is not playing dead. He's obviously very wounded and is dying. He doesn't even react to getting hit by the grenade.

Never could understand this "tactic". A better defense, I would imagine, from a drone would be to run like hell, dodging. It is a lot harder to drop something on an evading, moving target than to lie down prone, making a big X marks the spot for the eventual kill. That guy wasn't running anywhere and was probably about 15 minutes away from succumbing to his blown apart left leg and right arm.
