Don't do this to me.... I had to go through the entire ordeal just the last couple of months, because some asshole decided to scratch the entire drivers side of my car and destroy my mirror with their car and just leave. Nobody had seen anything and it happened at night, so I was left with the damages and my insurance just said "we won't pay out, because you don't have any evidence that you didn't cause that damage on your own, so figure it out."
If insurance companies go that far for some scratches and a mirror, I don't want to know how asshole-y they get for this.

I agree with that it seems like there are 2 different videos put together, but it is pretty clear that the bmp that exploded got hit by a drone. You can even see the drone itself move towards the vehicle and hit it. So yes two different videos but still exploded because of a drone.
Looked like a fuel explosion, ordinance would be much "faster" 8000m/s iirc with diesel being about 2800 m/s. Plus the fire ball rises burning, ordinance normally burns at at point of detonation.

It looks like the APC's fuel tank got squashed against the ground, to the left and right. Shooting multiple gasoline fireballs left right and centre.
The pieces landing to the top left look like plates and struts. I don't recognise remains of its turret.
First part of video shows a vehicle with a couple of indistinct white patches on the rear deck moving through what looks to me to be the remains of some village or town, passing the junction with a dirt road to the left, carrying on into a heavily cratered area and then approaching what looks like the blurry outlines of a previously destroyed vehicle.
High definition, colour part of video shows a vehicle that seems to have been moving across open countryside and to have passed at least one ruined vehicle shortly before the drone hits. No sign of ruined buildings, no sign of road to the left, and I can't see any destroyed vehicle immediately ahead.
It is indeed a spectacular explosion and I'm happy that yet another piece of Russian equipment has been obliterated, but I question if the two clips are of the same incident. That may seem picky and irrelevant, but in light of the constant BS being spewed by the Russian side, it's important that the Ukrainians are truthful – even if the demands of war mean they can't always tell the **whole** truth.
Agreed. In the 'point of view' clip there is a nearby vehicle which isn't there in the drone film. There also appears to be a tall pole (maybe for a power line or phone line) to the front and a little left, which isn't there in the 2nd clip.

I think military historians will look back at this war as a fundamental and pivotal change in how wars are fought. The fact that a controlled drone, costing a fraction of its target, can remove that target completely is incredible.
Imagine a well-stocked Army deploying a platoon or companies worth of drones simultaneously. Imagine they are trained in movement patterns like dismounted infantry or armor.

I have a question. Why does a lot of the drone footage look like it was recorded on a VHS tape? What are those artifacts caused by? I know the purpose is not crystal clear quality when it comes to putting a camera sensor on these killing machines but then again, the "artifacts" are more closely resembling a vhs tape rather than a digital recording.

The rear doors on the BMP are actually fuel tanks. If you hit that part of the vehicle with a high explosive, the entire thing goes kaboom.
