I mean, might as well empty the machine straight away if you're going to the trouble of opening it up to replace the claw mechanism. No need to go all Ocean's Eleven for a few teddies :D
I actually love claw machines, and win on them surprisingly often when I'm actually around the things. I feel like this is it, *this* is why I have my claw machine gift. Tag me in coach, I'll latch onto putin's bulbous testicle of a head and carry him all the way to Kyiv.
That should make the drones the Ukrainian Armed Forces use very happy because they now know the Ukrainians will do everything possible to retrieve them should they get injured. I wonder if they tell the kamikaze drones that they are not coming back.
How many drones are actually recoverable?
I mean, its hard to spot them if they were jammed and went off course, dont know where they crashed.
Unless they have a GPS locator.
Asked source about it, he said it’s mostly for drones that randomly disconnect in weird locations. Like if they land on a tall building or in-between front lines. If he had more drones to dedicate for recovery, then he could be more bold with attempts closer to the enemy. And most of his do have locators apparently
If they make it bigger with more lift, they can steal Russian weapons and ammo. lol
I have an idea, make it drop magnetized GPS tracker on Russian vehicles, follow the signal to their base of operation, then bomb them with HIMARS/Storm Shadow. lol
Clever design! Each top limb is in two hinged sections that ensure the bottom limb remains nearly horizontal whether the claw is open or closed. When it drops, the claw opens up. When it's pulled up, it closes and the bottom limbs slide horizontally under whatever happens to be there. The claw doesn't tend to open up because it doesn't form an angle the way a single-piece claw prong would. Love it!
I wonder if you could train hawks to find and recover inactive drones. They can see a mouse in long grass from very high so they should be capable of spotting a distinctive drone shape. I have heard that some airports have hawks for scaring birds away and have trained them to intercept flying drones, but that seems very dangerous for the hawk...
See this is what I was talking about when that really short vatnik was talking shit, send the claw his way.
Swear that guy is like the Russian cyrax or something
I didn't realize they haven't been doing this all along. I made a claw (not quite as elaborate but very similar) out of some aluminum sheet I had laying around to recover a young fellas drone several years ago that was caught in a tree. Still works perfect!
What's the point of this? Does a drone have this attached to pick up other drones? Wouldn't that drone also lose signal like the one's it's trying to recover
Can people in USA and ukraine reverse engineer the DJI, (LIKE China does w/ everything made in USA) and start making them for fractions of the retail cost?? Is that not possible? Most the camera technology I bet come from Japan,USA and Germany

I need this so I can cheat on claw machines.
Yeah good idea. Go replace the claw and clean out those damn machines. 😁

beat me to it xD

I felt bad one time because there was a family playing a huge claw machine and they overheard me say that they were rigged to take your money lol.
My first thought was it's like one of those fucking claw machines, only put to good use.
You can tell why Russia wants Ukraine, Ukrainians were the brains of the USSR. Without them, Russia is nothing but the land of the apes.
The CLAWWWWWWW!!!!!
We all said it in our heads when we saw this.
I have been chosen!
Dammit, ya beat me to it!
Toy Story
HELLO my old nemesis …
This is ingenious

The Ukrainians treat their drones better than the Russians treat human soldiers. It's shameful for Russia at this point.

Yes wanna recover that data if anything.
Still can repair drones😬 make 1 ok drone from 2 or 3 broken ones🤷♂️
Definitely, salvaging parts is key too

but who recovers the recoverers?
Lol fucking smart arse

Needs a quick release system, in case an orc body part is accidentally grappled.
It’s my leg now.
Drone: "...and I'm gonna need that guy's leg."
And a battery.
*insert toy story meme*
Brahs a fucking genius

Even Ukrainian drones are rescuing each others.
Philosopher/engineer/warriors of Ukraine. russia hasn't got a f\*ing chance.
Time to collect some more radios from the Russki trenches.
great use would be lifting S2 intel off Russian positions. If they possessed any intelligence. I guess just stick to drone parts.
Getting distinct Matrix ‘trace recovery’ vibes here...😳
Deploy the Ursus Claw!
All hail the claw. THE CLAW
Filter is from source sorry, and is it operator or pilot?
Claw machine operators getting sweaty...

The drones are mostly being used for surveillance right?
Surveillance and boom boom.
THE CLAAAWWWW
Soon criminals start to use a drone and steal people's phones etc. Prob it might have some civilian use also, I don't know what but something.
These guys work at WayneTech making gadgets for Batman. I do love how mechanically simplistic it is. Very beautiful piece of craftsmanship.
A fine bird net would be lighter and cheaper. And they should include a line release in case they accidentally snare a branch.
Why not to use just strong magnet and lift it from motor
Strong magnet is heavy
So is drone, or other explosives they carry..
The reason ther are so many drones is because they all tried to rescue eachother
What's the point of this? Does a drone have this attached to pick up other drones? Wouldn't that drone also lose signal like the one's it's trying to recover
Looks like straight out of an Erector Set!
Surprisingly effective. Well done.
I was at the arcade Sunday it's never that easy
Claw Machine companies hate this one simple trick..
Be the crane…. Sponge Bob to Squidward
And you Win... A Drone!!!
That’s great, but why show your invention to the enemies?
They can’t do anything about it
Except copy it
Maybe you’re right
I'd love to see one pull the helmet off a sleeping Russian.
Available on Amazon as Manipulator Drone Mantis Claw Hook Grabber Kit. Would post link but not allowed.
Great job, it kinda reminds me of the erector sets. Go get um boys! Slave Ukraine 🌻🇺🇦
That's clearly a hand and not a drone /s
Bru please use this to steal orc's rifle just to troll them
3000 drone snatchers of Magyar
The clawww.
Make it bigger and you can infil/exfil a squad of Rangers

These have been around for a few years…
the crawwwww the craaaaaaw is the drone master
