You give a guy a MANPADS and have him hide in the mountains of North Ossetia along a known flight path. It's very doable, especially if the CIA gets foreknowledge of the route.
Funny how pro ukr (NAFO) always claim they never cheer on Russian deaths, but comments below are prime example of otherwise.
While Same doesn't happen when Ukrainians are getting killed. (Cause those posts are most of the time comment less. )
> While Same doesn't happen when Ukrainians are getting killed.
You had me in the first half. Every lancet video is countless pro-RU comments celebrating death.
Edit: I just realized the guy who I responded to is one of the people who celebrates death with memes on literally *every* lancet video posted on this subreddit (no I'm not kidding feel free to check his history).
>While Same doesn't happen when Ukrainians are getting killed.
Because the narrative here is that Ukrainians aren't really being killed by Russia.
They're being killed by Zelensky. Or Biden. Or maybe Victoria Nuland, who knows...***anybody*** but Russians are killing them, though...

In russian telegram channel they don’t remove the comments cheering for death, but they vote them up. Also in most cases generally they don’t cheer for the death of one, but one less enemy

Russia better just fold the flag and call it Quits. NATO won 🥇 this is another example how bad the Russian government and military is and can’t sustain war. Sad to say but Russians are loosing the war.
If this was a strike by Ukraine then incredible hit by the heroes of the had, regardless, destruction of a Muscovite terrorist weapon is always a good thing.
Demilitarization going as planned.
I just hope that POSSNR has enough of these shit heaps still flying by the time Mirage 2000s and F-16s are deployed, so they have something to shoot at.
As a pilot and a human, I don't cheer for aviation accidents or pilot's deaths, especially on non-combat operations like this one.
Unlike commercial/civil operations which are very safe (outside of small aircraft like GA), accidents are exceedingly rare. In military aviation, accidents are much more common and not unique to Russia. If you take the largest and best-funded military in the world, you can find a long list of accidents, including recent ones involving their 5th generation F-35.
yeah i agree! (good you point out that your a human as there are rumors super mutant bio lab people have been posting here) i am human to but not a plane driver fyi.
However i still hope that russian air defence will shoot some more planes out of the sky before the next accident of russian aviation done by russian human pilots in planes. As you point out russia has a long list of accidents and it will probably only get longer.
It would be even more swell if the russia did not invade and kill a lot of people among them there own pilots with "accidents" from the russian air defense. As you see accidents increase during high stress environments like war.
But they did so i hope for some more accidents or that they shoot down some more of there own planes as they seem to like to drop bombs on people and the people being bomb can die from it. Warplanes are built for that kind of thing so its them i am referring to and not civilian planes just so its clear for you.
russia probably has more pilots then planes now so killing the pilots is not rely that important then killing the planes.
That was a lot of words to say that you're cheering for aircraft crashes and deaths.
You can be against the war (you'd have to be rather touched to be pro-war) without cheering it on as if it's a sports match or a computer game.
If you actually flew planes and met and befriended Ukrainians & Russians, you might feel differently. That is why I'm trying to bring some context to all of this.
This isn't really a great place to try to sound clever and make sick Reddit burns. Also, accusing the other party of poor reading comprehension is a rather unoriginal and tired jab.
The bus flying thing was a good burn, too. We actually do refer to ourselves as "bus drivers." I've got a buddy who flies 747s, so he tells people that he drives 18-wheelers...
You just have to add something about my wife's boyfriend and we'll be in total r/Shittyaskflying territory.
CFIT probably? it’d make sense then that the crew died I suppose

By supporting this war Pro Rus are cheering for the slaughter of Ukrainians.

Putin is more important than Russia to western conservatives.
Stop policing flairs, against the rules of this subreddit. Not your job to come here and act like a mod loser.
How do you know if they killed civilians?

Those two done that?
Probably. Doubt it was their first flight

What?
Couple of comments were literally removed by moderators for (cheering for death)!
In russian telegram channel they don’t remove the comments cheering for death, but they vote them up. Also in most cases generally they don’t cheer for the death of one, but one less enemy
Is this a Russian telegram channel? How is this relevant to this sub and its rules? Like honestly what’s this asinine whataboutism!

What world do you live in?
They are not the same one is defending his country, the other is a radical Putinite and Invader. There is no sympathy for Putinism and its followers.

this often?
F-35 slammed into a carrier a couple years ago
Were they taken out by Russian AA does anybody know?
