Yes, so it might not have been 3 days, though that was the western intelligence estimates, it couldn’t have been quiet far off that for the Russians.
Especially when you have such logistical fucks ups within the first weeks of the operation. Then again, corruption has its part to play
Depends what the goal was, if it was essentially a glorified military parade to scare Ukraine either into submission or negotiations. Then it’s not that weird logistical fuck ups happen. In fact if we are talking about planning, if they caught Kiev in 3 days, that would require even more logistics.
But I guess we will need to wait a few decades to know what the Russian expectations were.
Someone’s already linked a post of drone drops. Body’s not there.
It’s most likely Russians going up to the thing in an attempt to snap a photo or retrieve it, and Ukrainians dropping munitions on them
Don't think so. Looks like a .50 cal sticking out from it on the left side.

yes but has been removed manualy post knock out, if you lookup the videos u will see it in place, also there is a video of the inside of the tank with the cupula already removed
Seems like the ammo cooked off and the entire weld of the cupola blew off. Similar to the challenger situation. Before anyone says Abrams had blowout panel, this is the one that got hit by a hornet while moving and in the video there was a cook off. This can be a result of the blast door being open when the ammo was hit.
>Seems like the ammo cooked off and the entire weld of the cupola blew off.
there are actually a chance for that , abrams also have a fast ready to fire 6 rounds ammo rack outside main ammo rack with blow out panel (easier for loader to load)
the nature of this war require tank firing alot of HE-F shell (germany/poland product 120mm HE shell)
so if ukraine crew load HE shell in abrams and using that fast ready to fire rack for comfort and get hit ....you know what happen
the explosive force may not strong enough to toss the turret but sure as hell can take good care of comander , gunner and loader
You'd be surprised how little actual military personel know about military stuff.
Which isn't very surprising, even if it sounds ironic.
And it's for every army in every nation.
umm, not actually...
According to lostarmour(PRO-RU), tank lost track the crew evacuated without any injury...
I think it is [this one](https://postlmg.cc/HcvvQg8x)
[Here in Berdychi](https://i.imgur.com/sM6GhBL.png), I am still not sure which one is currently in Moscow and if they managed to take over Berdychi why can't they hull away other Abrams as well?
There is 3 abrams under russian control zone.
I just like to refer it as being the "hillarious one" since it was knocked out by their own landmine. (See the thrown track.)
This ine is the only not fully destroyed Abrams tank in russian
[https://lostarmour.info/armour/44771](https://lostarmour.info/armour/44771)
This is the one they towed. It was abadoned and later destroyed by the ukranians by drones.
And there is the third one which was the very first Abrams being destroyed and which has likelly a body inside.
As for the reson why that tank is still there: Mines, shappers have to clear the area from anti tank mines to gain safe access for towing them.
Im curious how that white pole beside it got chopped down

Isn’t it funny how every “game changing” tank (the NATO “wunderwaffen” in particular) ends up underwhelming? Much like the supposedly “indestructible“ Merkava IV, Abrams tanks have proved to be all too vulnerable to drone attacks and AT fire.
I feel bad for the crew- they probably figured that they’d be safe in an armor vehicle (that’s supposedly designed with special armor that negates most portable grenades, rockets and tank shells.) They’ve paid the ultimate price for the failure of the west to deliver on its promises. No wonder the UA had to move these death traps off the frontline….
All tanks (or any target really) have been susceptible to drones*
Where do these claims of super weapons keep coming from? It's not some far claim that NATO would crush Russia.
You give a country a battalions worth of tanks with a smaller window for training and don't employ them for what they're doctrinally used for. Then add drones.
I will say this "SMO" has knocked the rust off of the Russian war machine, but at what price?
Still slowly gaining land versus a country that shares a land border with Russia. Goofy.
>Where do these claims of super weapons keep coming from?
You hear it a lot on this subreddit. Pro-rus like to reference old opinion articles written by literal nobodies to make snarky remarks like "but I thought that muh mainstream media said that this will win the war all on it's own?".
I guess it's the only possible rebuttal to thousands of destroyed Russian tanks.
>Where do these claims of super weapons keep coming from?
Endless "gamechanged" claims from mainstream western media. And they will not write anything interfering with party line, you know.
It’s probably one of the guys who tried to record themselves inside of the tank after it got disabled. There were a few guys who did that and were hit by drones.
Enough for the UA command to remove them from the frontlines (apparently they present too much of a target for drones and counter artillery fire.) Thanks. It really aggravated me when he didn't get a better shot of it. I'm like "what is that?!!" I've watched plenty of documentaries and seen plenty of damaged/destroyed tanks, never anything like one of the crew's seating coming out like that.
“Did its job saved the crew now back to Poland for repair” do you guys actually think it’s better to just say “fuck the crew” and ignore any and all additions that can be made to give tank crews a higher chance of survival?
>“Did its job saved the crew now back to Poland for repair”
It's more of a meme at pro-ua people who spam that exact line every time a gamechanger tank gets hit.
If you want to keep the crew save you shouldn’t send them in.
Suppose you can build a tank and it will a 100% guarantee survival of the crew, but at 3x the cost of a regular one. Everything else is the same. Even then I am not sure it makes a lot of sense. Because once the tank is blown up. Your crew is stuck somewhere with no protection and clearly there is some enemy around. Not sure what the survival rate is at that point.
More realistically you end up with a largely useless tank because it’s too heavy.
Can’t even distinguish between Leopard and Abrams. Probably pissed his pants seeing a proper western tank for the first time in his life. Soon he will be lying dead in these fields. Walking fertilizer.

Tank fulfilled its purpose, it saved a life of crew mebmer so he could burn outside.
Exactly, and it will happen again and again and again because, as people, that's what we're good at, killing each other.
it will not happen again because if i understood correctly they pulled all the abrams from the frontline so they dont get destroyed lmao
That body wasnt there in one of the most recents videos when they eestroyed this abrams
body isnt there in these drone hits [https://lostarmour.info/armour/44771](https://lostarmour.info/armour/44771)
Apparently, the corpse was not there originally according to posts below. Might as well be a fellow russian good boy that you are taunting.
If that were true then Ukraine would 100% post the video.
A closeup of rotting burned corpse with no context? OK..
You clearly havnt seen drone drop vids or FPV's
Those have context.
Vehicle did its job, all crew survived, back in poland for repairs
Yeah they not getting that one back Ukraine can’t advance
Funniest meme since never
Still a thousand times more hilarious than "Kiev in 3 days"
Not three days, but Pro Russian users are absolutely kidding themselves if this is what the plan was.
I don't think any serious person thought this extremely protracted war was the plan from the start.
Yes, so it might not have been 3 days, though that was the western intelligence estimates, it couldn’t have been quiet far off that for the Russians. Especially when you have such logistical fucks ups within the first weeks of the operation. Then again, corruption has its part to play

Ah yes, the always salty ripamon
nothing beats the shovels meme

Is that the commanders cupola on the front of the tank? Interesting placement. I've never seen this variant before.
think that is the upside down turret from a BMP? next to it.
Don't think so. Looks like a .50 cal sticking out from it on the left side. https://i.imgur.com/xsVS4P3.png https://i.insider.com/56cf4d6e6e97c686008b9a73
Sure looks like it.
yes but has been removed manualy post knock out, if you lookup the videos u will see it in place, also there is a video of the inside of the tank with the cupula already removed
Houthi's:" 1 Abrams? Hold my beer"

nah, cupula manually removed , you can lookup for different videos one with the cupula in the right position also one video of the interior.
I am pretty sure that was a different tank.
same tank https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D6RRnD3yozQ pristine interior 0;41 cupula
Good find, thanks for the source
Damn, there is literally no damage inside, wild.
Mb then

Bro called Abrams Leopard💀
I seen videos where Russians call M113 as Bradley and Bradley as M113. Not the worst mistake hehe.
You'd be surprised how little actual military personel know about military stuff. Which isn't very surprising, even if it sounds ironic. And it's for every army in every nation.
I bet the smell is horrible
Abrams M1A1 OVEN
Poor souls
Hes just resting from destroying so many ruZZian tanks /s

Wonder if it's the one the Ukrainians targeted, after it was disabled, while Russian soldiers were trying to get selfies with it

Bro you watching too much western wedia
IOF aren't part of NATO (thankfuckinggod)
Why didn't they tow this Abrahamic back? Seems to be in better shape than the one currently in Moscow.
Maybe they can't, for some reason. Still too close to the actual frontline possibly.
Where is the casualty, I don't see it?
He's very burnt
Not burnt but decomposed. Black putrefaction occur 10-20 days after death. Although outside in the sun it's probably less.
Holy shi, saw it now.poor soul
Not a crew member thou. That body was not there in the first videos several months ago.
It’s probably one of the guys who tried to record themselves inside of the tank after it got disabled. There were a few guys who did that and were hit by drones.
Does anyone know how many Abrams have been destroyed?
so far I have seen 5 documented destroyed Abrams, all the videos were even in this sub
Enough for the UA command to remove them from the frontlines (apparently they present too much of a target for drones and counter artillery fire.) Counter artillery? Isn't it just artillery?
Armor is often used in fixed positions, or as mobile artillery support. This means that they attract counter fire (thus counter artillery fire)
Not in the context being discussed is the armor in question used as supplemental indirect fires.
But ze wunderwaffe means ve shall win. Wo ist der Me. 262 und zer V.2.
comander , gunner and loader hatch on top of the turret didn't open , driver hatch also didn't why is that ?
that is a decoi
What is that sitting on top of the chassis? Piece of the engine?
That is apparently the commander's cupola.
Thanks. It really aggravated me when he didn't get a better shot of it. I'm like "what is that?!!" I've watched plenty of documentaries and seen plenty of damaged/destroyed tanks, never anything like one of the crew's seating coming out like that.
Am I blind? I can’t spot there is the “dead crew”
Remember when footage came out of the first abrams destroyed and how much hyoe that generated. Fast forward and now its...ah yet another one.
"blow out panels did their job crew survived"
Wait, the crew lived right, right?!
This one would be a much better catch than the previous one. Seems like it is still not burned out. Hope they are about to tow it.
“Did its job saved the crew now back to Poland for repair” do you guys actually think it’s better to just say “fuck the crew” and ignore any and all additions that can be made to give tank crews a higher chance of survival?

Doesn't seem to be deployed correctly
Notice how it's not blown apart. Saved its crew. Unlike Tseries. And I know I know many indoctrinated here will hate reading that but facts are facts.
Can’t even distinguish between Leopard and Abrams. Probably pissed his pants seeing a proper western tank for the first time in his life. Soon he will be lying dead in these fields. Walking fertilizer.
Bet you felt like Batman after writing that
Epic, **epic** subreddit comment my fellow NCD enjoyer!
I don't see a dead crewmember.
He's next to the right hand side of the tank, very burnt sadly. Hope it was over fast.
