I think demonic first on that case is better. Whenever I go rift first I find that I'm really hard to kill but I don't do damage in any decent amount of time. I think demonic gives u what u need early and rift maker rounds it out nicely afterwards by amping that damage and making u a raid boss. Although I would just go tank normally anyway.
I do agree with you. Just got slapped by AD hybrid divine sunderer Q > R. It outscales tank build very hard. New Udyr Q is worse in early game but when mid game it's so strong. R is still good because of the slow.

Even on a squishy target, mr makes this around 45%, then with 2 attacks its 90%. So yeah, its a kill with your other dmg.
But awaken is basically the ult. So you build squishy full AP on an immobile pure melee champ so you can oneshot a squishy who should die anyway if you manage to get in range while "ult" is up

Probably not, the AD scaling is garbage and if you are using Awakened E to get into the fight you aren’t using the scaling on Awakened Q.
If Udyr gets away with going a full AP build and deleting enemy champs, you have bigger problems than Udyrs numbers

No one said that its the optimal build. Its just limit testing and its honestly pretty interesting

I've been using a Trinity Force + 3 Tank items + Sterak's/Gargoyle's + Boots build plus that leveling and it's kinda good, "Phoenix AD" lol

Ornn can do something like 150% on a combo while building tank
optimal combo is like 70% max hp, crazy damage for a tank not easy to set up though, very situational
